Extra chat Extra Thanks. What if I can’t tell who’s built my Jack ?
Thank you very much for the donation. That was very nice of you! Sometimes they could be a no-name, but it should relatively be the same. You shouldn’t have no worries that way.
And you didn't think we'd want a jack maintenance video. Thanks for doing this.
Thanks very much. I truly appreciate that. I think I’m going to still do my VW video every week on Friday. But on an opposite day, put something different in like this. Thank you for being here.
You just made me feel guilty. I have been ignoring my floor Jack, since it needs maintenance. Thanks A lot 😢
Ha!! time to maintenance your jack so you are safe, my friend! I hope you enjoyed the video.
Just serviced my Lincoln 2 ton jack this morning and then your video is out. Great information.
Thank you so much, Jeff! I truly appreciate the kind comment.
Definitely guilty of using them till they quit & throw them out. Hopefully this video will inspire me to go thru my jacks.
Oh, trust me, I’ve done the same thing! I would toss them out and buy a new one. As I got older, I realized, that I don’t have a lot of money lol.
I made a comment that if you made the video, I would watch it... Thx for sharing this information.. Slade, you take care my friend and God Bless...
God bless my friend, and thank you for saying that! I hope you have an amazing day tomorrow.
What a great video; I have topped up my small jack but now I can bleed it properly. Thank you!
Thank you so much! I hope it goes well, just be safe and take your time.
I'd love to see more maintenance stuff like this! It never dawned on me that I should be doing this. I obviously didn't read the manual!
I feel like the port you want to tap and put a fitting in is another rubber plug painted to match. If you pry it up, you can drip oil into it.
Slade, very very useful. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you, my friend! And thank you for taking the time to leave a comment.
Tractor Hydraulic Fluid will work and folks with farm or heavy equipment usually have 5 gallon buckets sitting around of that. I wouldn't use any other fluids though. Maybe power steering fluid. But nothing else. Except maybe some automatic transmission fluid that doesn't have any friction modifier. But nothing else.
Great vid, many thanks. Ive never serviced a jack, i'll be doing my 3 this weekend.
Outstanding, I hope the video is very helpful. Thank you for taking the time to leave a comment.
I had no idea! Wow!!! Thank you for this video.
Thank you so much, my dear friend! I hope you’re having a very amazing weekend with your family.
Appreciate you and these excellent videos. Learned some valuable stuff today. Cheers!
Thanks very much, and thank you for the kind comment. I hope it was helpful and I hope you’re having a great day.
Great video. I use a large cookie sheet to do this job on. Can buy very cheap at garage sales.
Thank you! That is an excellent idea, Charles! I know my wife has some in the house but I guess I better not lol
Thanks!
Thanks, good video. I think I remember seeing some where if you jack it to full height, and then continue to pump about 10 times it bleeds out air. I don't know that to be right though. I need to service my floor jack. Oh yeah, my daddy used to always say "grease is cheap boy". He was right I grease the heck out of everything, lol.
Great info thanks!
Thank you very much for being here!
Great video mate, thanks for sharing 😉😎

Awesome video thanks.
Thank you so much, my friend! I hope you’re having a great day.
When bleeding, is it better to have it flat or would it be better to elevate the rear of the jack a few inches?
I have always done it on a flat surface.

I don’t understand the humor? I’m glad this was put up. I needed this video.
