I was playing Super Mario Maker 2 until HYPER REALISTIC BLOOD CAME OUT FROM THE TV AND THE MUSIC BEGAN TO BE REVERSED!
I couldnt feel my leg.. suddenly the basement door opened.. with the same face from the bloody tv.. his dark dusty hands dragged me in the basement-
And his Gloves were covered by BLOOD from his Brother Luigi! He had a disturbing face, he didn’t stop smiling... until a strange sound from the TV came out. Suddenly, Mario take out a knife, he hurt me with it. Blood started to come out while Mario with a really strange voice said to me: GaME OVeR. Then I woke up in my bed and found out that was just a nightmare. From that moment, I never played Mario Maker 2 again...

Hey, finally a good dark level, usually they're awful. I digged the whole PT style or "revisiting" the same corridor with a slightly different twist each time.
Could be longer, with more hazards (aka an actual challenge) and maybe an actual enemy you have to run away from... I think having an evil clown car chasing you at some point (such as in that part with the conveyor belts slowing you down) would make a great "oh, shit!" moment.

You know what? This is 'themed' level actually, but Japanese will think this is 'gimmick (ギミック)' level and Korean will think 'puzzle-solving (장치 공략)' level (actual 'puzzle-solving' tag is described as 'mystery (수수께끼)'). (I don't know about another language.)
