@@shanea-sr7942 Both companies sell their kits for 150/250 and E350s.
Action Van sells drop down brackets for the I-Beams Camburg also sells a Drop down bracket system for the I-Beams.
WeldTech Bends the Stock I-Beams Camburg does this as well. Camburg is the only one of the 3 Econoline Lift companies that sell both methods of lifting.
I have no idea what WeldTec does in order to lift RVs but they do it and those kits are even more expensive then their Van Lift kits.
From having both Action Van an Weldtec kits the WeldTec does offer more lift. They both ride better then stock. Still have to take my van off road to see how it does off road but that's where the Bent I-Beam kit supposedly shines. Even Camburg prefers to sell Bent Beams over Drop down bracket kits because they advertise it as so much better then the Drop down brackets.
Which kit are you leaning towards more?

Sorry that your not 100% happy with your kit. We are using only the best parts and that is why this kit is pricey @$2700 for the #bajagrocerygetter with a $1000 + for the install + alignment then good Ole CA sales tax. If you only want to run a 265 tire we do offer a less expensive #ocotillocruiser 3" lift. I do appreciate your honesty and hope that this kit will prove over time it was worth the investment. I hope the video doesn't come off as I'm not happy. These videos are tricky to make. I'm giving my opinion on the point of view of a blue collar guy who has to grind and work 60 hour weeks to afford something like this. I even joke in one of my videos that my van is the Ugliest Crappiest Van that Weldtec has ever worked on.
You guys work on some big buck builds and obviously a lot of your customers are wealthy. My channel is a blue collar channel focused on budget and my Honest Opinion is if you're going for looks $4400 is a lot of money and a cool look can be achieved for less. Even then some people don't have the means for the cheaper $2000 kits so I throw it out there that there's a cheap $300 leveling kit.
I'm happy with the lift now that it's in it's nice. I noticed there's no one with this kit on youtube making off roading videos. I intend to take this off road when I get a rear locker and will make videos for people interested. The kit is really nice and I do my best to plug the fact that it looks really good and appears to be really high quality.

Glad this video helped you out. If you go Action Van I would just get the base kit and none of the Extras to save money.
Have you seen the Ford Parts one Kit? It's only a 2 inch lift up front but its way cheaper then these big lifts and you'll save a ton of money and definitely be able to get a locker too.
Like I said in my video I wish I went Action Van and Locker at the same time. I think a van with a locker and no lift will do better on basic off road trails then a van with a lift and no locker.
Of COurse I got the lift first because the car guy in e wants a cool looking ride.

I am planning to do a semi-minimalist build in order to keep the weight down where I can. I like your suggestion of doing the locker kit 1st since I recently got stuck on the beach in my bone stock van while beach camping... Let's just say I had to improvise to get myself unstuck... Getting the rear locker kit first should give me enough time to save up for the lift kit... I will probably go with the ARB locker kit (Cry once, Buy once)...

Congrats on the van man! When I got my van lifted in 2021 with Weldtec they only wanted to install ARB Air Lockers. They quoted me at $4000. I ended up going to Action Van Suspension for my rear locker. They have more choices. In terms of lift kits as of 2024 Action Van Charges $3500 to install their kit and Weldtec is now $5200. Both are great lifts but I recommend Action Van because it's every bit as good as Weldtec. Here is my best video about Action Van Vs Weldtec.

As someone who has lifted lots of Ford twin I beam and twin traction beam suspensions, bent I beams are the way to go for anything but a street rig. Drop brackets are serious weak points on these Ford suspensions. That 2" lift isn't worth the $300 asking price at all. Even if you can get an acceptable static alignment on the truck using the balljoint cams, once the suspension starts moving caster & camber go right out the window.

@@JohnDrivesAnything I've installed Rancho, Tuff Country, Rough Country, Sky-Jacker and others on TTB Ford Rangers/Explorers, Broncos and F-150s for people. The results were always the same, constantly needing to retighten drop brackets and getting new alignments. I told every one of them it would be better for me to cut & turn their axles since it retains the short factory riveted in place pivot points, or to do a solid axle swap. Only a few listened because usually they had either already bought the kit, or simply couldn't wrap their head around why a C&T was better.
On 2wd TIB Fords, it really is no different. Bending the beams and modifying the radius arms/radius arm brackets is simply the more reliable and robust way to go.
Those 2" spacer lifts pose their own problems. There is only so far you can go with offset ball joint cams and due to tolerance stacking you may not even be able to get the camber within spec. Moving the beam down 2" only at the spring will also negatively effect caster because the radius arm pivot hasn't moved. Lastly, $300 for rear blocks/U-bolts you can get at Auto-Zone for $50 and front coil spacers is a rip-off. They don't even include the ball-joint cams.

But they did stud it! already, I’m not a really big fan of any gas engine with single or dual overhead cams, (mainly cuz I suck at changing those timing chains & phases lol) But I feel like those Diesel E350s are the best way to go, I actually went ahead and bought an other one 3 weeks ago 06 E350 with the absolute Nicest 6.0 PSD engine I’ve ever seen NO LEAKS at all! Everything is undisturbed every single bolt nut or screw was in its correct place! Like they didn’t even drive it! It’s so quite the entire van clean, super solid suspension & steering WAY better driver than my 1st one BUT it’s got CAnCER!! Substantial amounts of rust, many Service records on carfax mentioned it like it’s whole life from 06 to 22 In Michigan until I purchased it here in TX looking at this Van like wtf does this really happen to vehicles that fast! Rust! but it’s soooo Nice man interior 2, I don’t care I still got cuz right now I GOT VAN FEVER! why would you live in place that deliberately destroys your vehicles with road salts? It all come down to money $2800 vs $4400 is a big difference. if that $1600 gap is preventing someone from getting a lift kit they will not be disappointed with the Action Van. I shared that cheap 2 inch lift kit too because maybe $2800 is too much for some people and they'll be happy a leveling kit. If you want that Quigley look though you gotta at least roll with the Action. The leveling kit is barely noticeable only van fanatics will notice the slight lift.

In 2016 I was cruising Craigslist in my area for cool vans when a huge Ford e350 popped up for sale for only 10 grand 5 minutes from my home. I didn’t know 2 wheel drive lifted vans even existed. I thought wow a 4x4 van for cheap! It was a mint white e350 15 passenger van with a action van lift on 33” inch tires. Sadly Someone snagged it before me. I went home and started googling Action Vans and that’s how I ended up on your channel! I found my van 6 months later.
Sorry for the long story lol!

@@holdfast4588 Van stories are never too long my friend. I was jealous of family and friends that had vans when I was a kid. My parents had a 1982 Corolla lol.
So being an Adult I'm probably making up for some sort of pschological damage of not having a van when I was a kid. My dad would even borrow my cousins van to run errands in with me. I'll never forget it 1982 Ford Econoline. I have to find a picture of it my parents have it somewhere.
When it comes to lifted Vans I remember years back Motorweek did a video on Quigleys and I wanted a 4x4 van but they're so expensive. So I discovered the Action Van lift and went that route years back . I was impressed how the Quigley dwarfed the Suburban. A lifted van is like having a treehouse and van at the same time lol.

What's a rear locker, is that something no homo?

Rear locker is very no h0m0 basically a 2 wheel drive vehicle is 1 wheel drive. One tires moving the over is spinning freely. So when you get stuck only 1 tire is moving and it's the one that has the least amount of traction. A rear locker allows both tires to move so you get traction in both tires and not just one. Very important for off roading.
