I am very hyped for this. For a few reasons. 1. I genuinely enjoy most MCU stuff since Endgame. Yes, some things have been meh. But in the grand scheme of things, I'm still hyped for anything MCU related. 2. The trailer just looked good. Simple as that. Love the actors and what little we do know about the show. 3. I have a buddy who worked on the show in set design. He didn't spoil anything whatsoever. But he told me some non spoiler things that really piqued my interest. Actually, he did say one thing that really got my interest. It might be a spoiler. But what I learned only made me more hyped for it.
I’m really up for this show now. Agatha was one of the best new additions to the MCU from the TV shows this far, and this looks a little darker more “horror” than I’d thought it would be. Great soundtrack choice for the trailer too; Florence + The Machine with their track “seven devils”. Such a great fit. Thanks for another great trailer reaction @John Rocha. Wednesday was exactly what I said when I saw the trailer. My nephew says it also has a Werewolf by Night vibe too. Either way, I loved both of those and I am down for Agatha All Along. Great for spooky season!
I hope it fulfills the truly creepy vibes it's giving off. If so, this looks really good. The cast looks great, the "monsters" look awesome, and it looks like it will have some great action.
I've not watched any Marvel stuff in a long time but this looks good and I want to see it. I'm a big fan of Kathryn Hahn and spooky comedy is fun. Addams Family Values is still one of my favorite movies. Beetlejuice is my favorite movie of all time. We all love Monster Squad. What We Do In The Shadows is brilliant. Rocky Horror is a banger too. It's a fun genre. Plus Aubrey Plaza. That's nice too. Kathryn Hahn and Aubrey Plaza starring in anything is a yes for me, dawg
I finally got a chance to get D+ and am binging all the stuff I missed for the nearly two years and, while, they aren’t Winter Soldier/Infinity War, I’ve enjoyed them all to greater or lesser degrees. Horror/spooky is not usually my bag, but this looks interesting.
There’s a great run from 2015 on Scarlet Witch where they basically had her being the John Constantine of the Marvel universe as a way to try to make amends for all the shit she’s done over the years- Lifting curses, exorcizing demons, banishing magical creatures etc. I believe that’s where the concept of the Witch’s Road was introduced, a realm that only powerful magic users have access to.
Looks pretty dope. I have been looking forward to this one, passively, but I think it was very much in the 'Unnecessary' column for a lot of folks. It really feels like there is a genuine vision behind this one. I think that Marvel has a pretty good track record, post-Endgame, but that things have been a little diluted and focus has been lost just a little bit. People loved the Agatha character and this show seems to be full of other interesting folks, as well. If Marvel can make people truly 'love' a character the way they loved the OG Avengers, then we'll be cooking with gas again.
Honestly it looks good. I’m getting Netflix Wednesday and Dead Boy Detectives vibes so I’m assuming the horror elements won’t be like Stranger Things or The Haunting series. I’m cautious because the last few times MCU went horror, they were meh.
It actually looks good. I’ll give it a try. The most recent thing I watched on Disney+ was the Bon-Jovi documentary. I very much enjoyed that. But prior to that I don’t think I’ve even bothered watching something on Disney+ for nearly a year! I’m very close to unsubscribing from the service. Maybe this show and the upcoming Daredevil reboot will keep me in…we’ll see.
Ngl, I kind of lost faith in Marvel series. Especially since this is a show fro mthe time Marvel was going "the more the merier" and we all know where the quality line stood. To me the trailer seems a bit all over the place. I'll still watch it but I'm not getting my hopes up.
