Is Krystal Grand Cancun the right hotel for you?

- Hola amigos - we decided to stay at the Krystal Grand Cancun for a few days during our week long Cancun adventure. In this video, we share our takeaways on our ocean view balcony room (beautiful views), the absolutely breathtaking crystal blue teal waters, beautiful beach, the location and nearby amenities of the hotel (close to supermarket Chedraui) and ferry to go to Isla Mujeres.
Hotel is known for being a resort - that is all inclusive stay however we opted out of that and only did a room stay and that worked out for us.
This is relaxing hotel and it is not a party/fiesta all night drinking hotel as I will tell you more in this video why that is.

Thanks Peter! Yes it was not easy to find a good restaurant in the Hotel Zone as tons of American Chains. The place we choose was fantastic ! As per the water, we never wanted to leave the beach !! 🙂
Gracias por el viedeo, conocimos a Mauricio y su esposa en Colomitos. Y tienen mucha razon el hotel lo recomiendo, el personal hace toda la diferencia. Pero tambien fueron muy agresivos con tratarde vendernos un paquete de viajes. Perdimos un dia, a 40 min del hotel sin almuerzo y teniendo que pagar nuestro taxi de venida. Mismo que les contestamos "No" mas de 5 veces. No lo acepten.

Thanks for a very well done Video. Just a question about the "Altitude" Tower / Rooms, Apparently it is an upgrade with superior amenities and rooms ? Any advice or info on that > Thanks
Hi there !! The altitude complex was beside this hotel - so we did not have a chance to tour it but I did hear that the rooms are bigger and you can use the “ nicer” pool that I do remember. We enjoyed this hotel as it was nice and quiet after 11pm and it was far from the noise of the street. Sorry I don’t have more info. Thanks for taking the time to comment.
Hello! Do you know much about the grass/seaweed that floats in? Is it true that they have cleaning crews to remove it?
Hi there. When we were there I can confirm there was NO seaweed at all at our beach on the sand or in the water. Thank you for commenting ☺️
Hi I'm going there in April, is it really that annoying the timeshare sellers? I always feel like hunted when that happens in a hotel.
Hola. I know what you mean about timeshare people as we live in Puerto Vallarta and I am also friends with some but at this hotel we had no issues at all. We did not get the all inclusive package and I believe the receptionist did mention if you want it for free we can work something out ( time share presentation) but we said no thanks. We enjoyed this hotel and we’ll if you have any other questions message me on Facebook or instagram. Thanks for commenting
How do get from the hotel to downtown and to the isla u mentioned of? Also, the night show, is it a daily show at the hotel?
From the hotel we stayed downtown to this hotel was about 20 min Cab ride. As per the Isla check out my other video on how to get there as the port was a 5 minute walk from this hotel. Every night there is some sort of entertainment but it was not a “show” it could of been like trivia night or dancing show something different. Hope this helped and thanks for watching

Hi Sebastian, When we went in February the cost was 75$ US per person per day. It is quite possible that the price might change when you go in June. Also note that all bars close at 11pm at the resort and i believe they only open at 1030-11am in the morning so before that you cannot get a drink at the bar. If you have a chance go to Isla Mujeres VERY nice island! I have videos on that as well :)

No bath tub. Looks more like 3 stars NOT 4 stars as stated in Travelzoo. Thanks for showing.
I did not know Travelzoo said 4 stars but I would give it a 3.5 at the most. Then again I did not buy the all inclusive package so maybe the food and drinks were good. As per the bathtub maybe the suites have it but I am not sure. Thanks for watching and commenting.
I'm going there in May 2022. Does the hotel provide airport transfers? Why did you opt out of all inclusive?
I believe they do offer airport shuttle but it’s a surcharge. as for all inclusive we don’t drink that much anymore lol (those days behind us) plus we do intermittent fasting so did’t really need the food. They did ask if we wanted an upgrade to all inclusive when we were checking in but we declined. Hope this helps. Enjoy your vacay! Cheers

What exact room is this? Was this the Altitude Suite Ocean Front room?
I believe the 8-9th floor I don’t recall 100% and no it was not the Altitude section 😀. Thanks for commenting

Hi there. We did not eat at the resort as we did not buy the all inclusive package but we did see the menu of the restaurants and had plenty of vegetarian options. You will enjoy this hotel. Note that after 11pm the bars and restaurants close.
Do they have two hotels next to each other the one you showed on the video krystal grand and the other next door krystal ? Do you know whats the difference between both? How many restaurants do they have inside for those who get all inclusive
Hello Bertha. There are resorts near by ( next door) but it’s not the same company as Krystal Grand Cancun. There is a tower inside Krystal grounds for the people who want to pay more but it’s still part of the same resort. We did pay/use the all inclusive but from what I saw I think around 4 restaurants perhaps. 😀
Is there an open bar at the hotel?
I believe there is if you get the all-inclusive package (we opted out) - we just got the room.
Also open bar Closes at 11pm. Seems like everything closes at 11pm at this hotel
No lo recomiendo... estamos completamente desilusionados
