Hey, can you do a video on managing multiple clients at once and prioritisation? Love all your videos!

I would love to see a video where you talk in more depth on networking. As you mention this is your primary source of referrals.

Reach out & go to events, be able to explain what you do & have a card!

That was really an eye opening insight. I have always been impatient and haven't been focusing on 10-15 years consistency.. Thank you for sharing.

Great video Ran, I’ve been freelancing full time for 2 years (part time for 8), as a solo parent I struggle with finding enough time to do the work that pays vs spending the time to build the long term game. My focus has been making as many hours as possible billable. The non-urgent stuff always gets put to the back burner. But you’ve made me realise that I need to think more about the future of my business and put some effort into that. 🙏🙏

Helpful indeed, thanks. I keep a similar column system in my management tool (Trello): "Nice to have", "Need to do", "On hold", "Doing", "Done". Portfolio tweaks, social media posting and long term outreach fall into the "Nice to have" category for which I allocate time every week

Great tips! Wherever it is, building your network is huge! When you hit a consistent flow, things really do snowball after a while.

Thank you! This is something I have realized is very important! I was putting this stuff aside as well, but I realized that if I want to do this for the rest of my life something needs to change! First thing I started to do carve out a time in the morning to do social media and more! Also I try to go to a least one meetup a week, and a least one big conference every couple of months! Have seen best network growth so far! Not much leads from it but maybe in the long term! Have to keep reminding myself how early I am in this because sometimes forget!

Perfect timing for me. Love the important - unimportant / urgent - non urgent matrix. From Stephen Covey I believe.

I learned the hard way that having a say in what you do comes in freelancing rather than being a full time employee at big companies, I'm quite interested in having independence and really grow as a thinker not only be that hands for somebody else's ideas. Sorry this turned dark fast :)

Is it possible to make it without networking? I'm living in a 3rd world country in a small town, there are no clients who would wanna pay more than $50 for website. And I'm really shy around people and uncomfortable. When I start communicating usually people starting to dislike me

you can always start working on Upwork and build network around that, you dont have to work with local clients.
      Which country is that?

Summary : How to get clients consistently ?
    1) Short term Vs Long term
In order to have long term consistency you need to build network
    A) different channels for referrals
    B) Social media
    C) Paid Channels
You can’t build all of these in short period. It takes time to build referral network.
Even social media channels like Twitter , CZcams etc take time to build .
    Reaching out to new people
    Going to conferences
