Ya i dont get why you would need a body kit on a viper. The viper is sick as it is.. especially the 5th gen.. no need to change what aint broke.
But it is not a viper, it's a VLF. Why would anyone buy another thing if they want a specific something?
Plus the VLF's motor is more powerful than the stock viper. That being said, i'd rather have the viper.

eh yeah but no considering its not just bolt ons its a legitimate body the only thing similar to the elise (what its loosely based on) is the tail lights and the general body shape
It completely changes it engine transmission they started on the lotus else but completely changed it
The venom isn't a body kit chief it just uses the shell of the lotus legit everything else is a completely different car
they had to lengthen the wheelbase to make the V8 fit, which means they literally had to stretch the car. No way itâs just a bodykit.

Heâs talking about extremely rare, one off cars with only a handful ever made. 1.3 million is what a McLaren costs new.
They will never be more than kit cars. You spend a boatload of cash building them, but you'll end up with a car build no buyers will want to pick up for reasonable money.
The 1960âs era Fiberfab Vasqueri although a bit dated is still a contender with its mid engine V-8 and a nice Porsche manual transaxle and tube frame. Finding one of these and a few body custom body upgrades and you are in the hunt for much less than $50k. upgrades

I have seen the Vex in person. Trust me when I say the car exceeds expectation
It does look like a 986. I'm a Porsche enthusiast, and I happen to have a 986 in my garage. While it's the best handling stock Porsche ever, they're now old cars. You really would need forking out a lot for an engine overhaul, new suspension, bushes, brakes, gear shifter etc before it's worth launching a build on one. Porsche builds are always eye wateringly steep. And as we say, how do we know if a 986/987/996/997 has been an insurance write-off ? Well, it has had a GT2/GT3 bodykit fitted đ€Ł (Used replacement fenders & bumper covers are made from unobtanium....)
Dissappointed that the valarra body kit for the C6 wasnât put on here instead of the split window kit. Plus the Valarra kit is only 30k and it looks wayyyy better

The rossi 66 looks the best , and with a couple of tweets (move the centre brake light, and open up the vents on the fenders) really looks like a modern classic vette.
That fr-s bodykit looks like they literally just stuck stuff on past the edge of the car on all 4 corners.
I like it though ngl, its simple but good looking. Its like when Batman or Flash puts on his mask, you know who they are, but just enough

@@THESLlCK its like the car is wearing a mask, you might not recognize it from a distance, but if close enough its fairly obvious whos/whats underneath (except for some reason, superman putting on simple glasses is a whole disguise)

Nothing wrong with body kits per se as long as it's well done. After all, what is a regular manufacturer car than the same frame with a body made by the same company? We only differentiate it when it's one manufacturer making the frame and another company makes the body. Is that a big enough difference to be discriminating? Do the Pininfarina, Zagato, Karman Ghia, or other "bodied" cars not count only because they charge a lot more for those cars?
The vlf looks like a fisker mixed with an aston martin rear. The Toyota 86 kit looks like a gtr sort of.
Looking for something genuinely affordable? Go look up the Widow SPR1, it's based on a first generation Miata

Ya that vex car built off the boxster.. its a body kit.. but if you look they had to cut the car in half and extend it out by a foot. Not a simple task. Lol, cool cars though..

The only "Affordable" car on this list was the third one. With the later choices being body kits on a Corvette and a Viper, and the later being either still expensive or unobtanium, its no surprise, though the VX is still a sharp looking car.

I would love to be able to design my own body kit or kit car..
I have been telling my friends about this long ago but they didn't believe me. Also they all are modified beyond what the engines could handle before they rolled out the production. That is why most of the supercars get fire, blowins up engines, over heat, etc. on the road.

No, the C-7. it is faster and looks better.
You canât find a c8 under 80k-100k dealerships and people jacked the price for them up sooo much so unless you were able to secure one directly from GM the price of them straight soared like crazy

Why does the gt86 bodykit looks like a senna in the front and if u look closely at the edges in the back of the bodykit it looks like its trying to make the toyota supra.
Then the c8 corvette front looks like its trying to make the 2018 nissan gtr.
These are all my opinions and perspectives, though they still look good.
My favorite part was that the Toyota 86 was the only actual body kit in the list. They were all great looking cars don't get me wrong, but only 1 out of the 5 in the list was an actual body kit.

Yes, it's actually sold as a turnkey model exclusively. Starts at $45k but customer provides the donor

Callaway makes some custom corvette with custom bodykits.
Sometimes the aesthetic of the vehicle beats out the additional price of getting it kitted.

For the vex is the price for the shell or is it for them to build it if you supply the chaise
If you supply the chassis, they'll build it with a 3-4 month estimated build time.

Drako is the reboot of fiskars brand, so they are not actually steeling the chassis but just reviving it
