I'm Japanese and live in Tokyo, so it's hard to get Mattia Bazaar's CDs. When I went to Italy on a business trip, I said, "I want to buy a Matia Bazaar CD as a souvenir." The Italians were surprised, "Why does a Japanese person like you, who is not in the music industry, know about Matia Bazaar?"
I always think, "If Mattia Bazar had debuted in the English-speaking world, would they have taken over the world?" But have you heard the English version of "TI SENTO"? "It's not bad, but Italian is cooler." Not as powerful as the Italian version.
This song is not included in the Italian CD, but it is a very beautiful song that was popular in Japan as it was used in a coffee commercial. It's from 1984, but it seems to have been remastered. Please listen to it if you don't mind. The female vocalist is the original Antonella.

Ang, you are right to love them, how can you not adore Antonella Ruggiero and her Matia Bazar? They were the most multifaced and experimental band that has ever been seen in Italy, they had music in theirs blood. They sang in every style and they themselves (not others) wrote these songs that still seem to have Just been conceived today.

The dude playing the guitar solo was the lead singer of the band for like a decade.
The lady sang backing vocals mostly, or they'd take turns.
Then they had this monster hit and he stopped singing completely.
Ho Ang. At 9:45 he starts "Angelina", another exceptional track taken from the LP "Melanchòlia" recorded by Matia Bazar in 1985. The album contains the same "Ti Sento" and the Song presenterà at Sanremo 1985: "Souvenir". It would be interesting of you also reacted to "Angelina".
All of a sudden it turned into a prog metal act, fantastic!

They need her... Is pretty close to the true. Some time ago she got some problem and she must stop for some time to sing. Naw she sing like solist and she carry some interessing musical project with many artist, sometime jazz, sometime folk but, they wend she leave, they have tried a few other singer, all very good, among them also the "Mezznotte" who now also has a brilliant solo career. But the Matia bazar are no longer what they used to be. Then they also had the mourning of the bassist who died around 50, they still play with I don't even know who they have now as a female voice but they are the shadow of themselves.
if you like this song, try to listen "Cavallo Bianco" always by Batia Bazar. :-o

Dear Ang, at the end Antonella greets the German audience speaking in their language and asks: "how are you?", then thanks. The song that follows after "Ti Sento" is "Angelina", you should listen to it because it is a beautiful song and with Antonella's final high notes.
The title here should be "Ti sento" live, as you are not reacting to the whole concert. In the following song "Angelina" Antonella goes higher compared to this song. And the video you have chosen is old, with the last part of the concert with the audio/video not syncronized. Please use this one in my channel to get it in its full beauty.
