@@traybern he did alot of things off script and imrpovising so hes alot like his character in real life plus look at all of his roles they are all the same as they are like him (Also his character was changed alot because matthew perry spoke to the directors and writers about changing his character alot )

One of the few celebrity deaths that made me cry. Friends was a big part of my teenage years, and Chandler was always my favorite and the one I could identify with the most.

Completely agree I liked Studio 60 a lot with the rapid fire dialogue and Matt Perry was excellent, and The Odd Couple wasn't bad I thought the cast had good chemistry and timing ,just not friends.He will be sorely missed,sounds like the cast is taking its time to release official statements as they are all grieving very sad times

There’s something so unnerving about seeing someone so alive and vibrant, full of personality, insanely radiant sense of humor, having infectious energy and then simultaneously knowing they’re dead… like I’m watching this right now but Matthew Perry is literally not alive anymore. He’s gone. He does not exist like at all. Yet in one moment in time he existed VERY much, and now he’s just a memory. Weird. Life is fuckin weird man.

-Joey : "What are we supposed to be seeing here?" Chandler: "I don't know, but I think it's about to attack the Enterprise."
-in s2, the whole roommate drama between Chandler and Joey that was meant as a parody of the Ross and Rachel drama. Especially the sequence when "All By Myself" plays
- "I'm still on London time. Does that count?"
-when Rachel is overwhelmed at having to keep her estranged parents apart at her birthday party, and Chandler sympathizes from his own experiences.
-naming the little chick Yasmine
-Chandler: "This is nice." Monica: "I know, it is, isn't it?" Chandler: "No, I mean it, this feels REALLY good. Is this 100% cotton?"
-getting together with Monica in the alternate reality

Like "The Big Bang Theory" Friends saddled their cast with dialog that sounded like it was written in an office ...and the saving grace was their delivery of these unlikely lines so that you had more belief in the characters....mobile-faced Matthew was very good at delivery - I think because of his Canadian upbringing.......Rest In Peace -

He had the BEST sense of humor. He was originally going to be in "Independence Day" and went so far as to begin rehearsals. During the scene where the airmen were getting the pointers about how to fight the aliens, he grabbed Will Smith and feigning fear, said, "hold me". He had to bow out due to scheduling conflicts and the part went to Harry Connick, Jr. Harry asked Matthew if he could use that line, and Matthew graciously said yes. SO sad that he was finally getting his life together ... who knows where his comedic genius and impeccable timing could've taken him and how far he could've gone. R.I.P. Matthew ❤️
