SCP-4666 is currently believed to be a single, exceptionally long-lived humanoid entity of unknown origin. Survivors of Weissnacht Events typically describe SCP 4666 as a very tall elderly male of European descent, with an extremely emaciated appearance. The entity always appears completely naked, even when observed outdoors in freezing weather. Though the nature and extent of its anomalous properties remain uncertain, SCP4666 appears capable of instantaneous or near-instantaneous travel to any location north of 40°N latitude, and possibly to any location on Earth.

I feel like this could be dealt with pretty easily. The Foundation could show up to a house reporting 4666 activity disguised as local police, tell the family their house is being stalked by a serial killer, and move them somewhere else until January 2.
They could, but the difficult part is not everyone would know anything about the Yule man and would brush everything off and strange accidents. Therefore the SCP foundation wouldn’t know where to go and who to save

How to survive scp 4666
Step 1: see scp 4666 in your window and take a picture of it with your phone
Step 2:tell your parents when you see it and tell them what it dose and tell them to make sure the rest of the family knows they need to hide in a room hidden and lock the door 11 days later. If they tell you not to worry tell them to tell the rest of the family to hide and show them the picture you took
Step 3: have your phone in your hand on the night scp 4666 will break into the house
Step 4: call the police and tell them to also hide in the house until they hear “the message”
Step 5 chose what the message will be (note: a bloodcurdling scream is best recommended)
Step 6: when keep your eyes open and wait for scp 4666.
Step 7: when scp 4666 finally dose arive scream the message you chose at the top of lungs.
Step 8:the police will come out of hiding and shoot the scp. (Note: gunshots will probably do nothing to it, I don’t know if gunshots scare it off so make sure you a knife just if case they don’t)
Step 9: if the gunshots don’t work make you have a knife and stab scp 4666 in the heart, this will scare it off. (If the police ask why you have a knife tell them you knew this was gonna happen but you didn’t know if the gunshots would to anything so you grabbed a knife)
Step 10: once it’s been scared off tell yourself family they can come out of hiding.
Step 11: celebrate the fact that the entire family just avoided death.
Step 12: if your still not 9 by the time it strikes at you again repeat this tutorial but alter it a bit since scp 4666 will probably learn from last time.
Note: if you get lucky and get a flesh doll. Give it to the police so they know you weren’t lying. Tell the family to come out of hiding and that it spared you for now. Make sure they also get to see the flesh doll so they believe you.

What about when the person goes on vacation when the kids feel watched by the Yule man, will he follow them to their vacation spot and continue the calendar there?
First off, events take place in rural areas, so police would be ill-equipped and outnumbered. Second, it is highly intelligent, if it sees you attempting to capture evidence, it will just disappear. Likewise, this is rural. There is most likely no Wi-Fi/ Signal. Also, he is very strong and has the power to teleport anywhere above 40 degrees north latitude.

There are so many urban legend types of stories related to SCP-4666. But all of them say that he's a man who can slap but can also stroke.
Me, a guy who lives in Michigan, which is 40 degrees north: I’m in danger!
How to deal with 4666:
Locate a house where 4666 has been reported. Then place several adults and one or more children who are blind within it. In each of the blind children’s bed rooms, place a portrait or enlarged photo of scp 096. Then wait for 4666 to show up and look at the portrait/ photo. The rest should take care of itself.

The creepiest thing about this for me, is that when I was a toddler, precisely 5 years old, woke up in the middle of the night seeing a lanky silhouette outside my window which has a pair of eyes that seemed to glow in the dark a little. And although I bet it was just my imagination or a case of sleep paralysis, it was just so frightening to me at the time that I can still remember it. And after watching this… I’m a bit freaked out cause where I grew up and the time of year, happened to fulfil all conditions

When I first heard about this, I was terrified for DAYS (even though the requirements weren’t met, but I didn’t know about that because I rushed through the video) and worried for the safety of my family. Honestly I have to respect the author, they made a “creepypasta” (scp articles are technically creepypastas, right???) that was ACTUALLY CREEPY! Pretty sure this was the reason I became extremely paranoid, but other than that, great SCP!

This is the most disturbing scp i've actually ever heard, and the only scp when i'm genuinely worried about the writer, the detail of grotisque in the article are simply too detail and really disturbing, the element of horror are perfect, combining the most innocent part of our society ( a family and children) with brutal murders,tortures and abducting.
