Min Heejin is also the reason of Youngseo leaving ILLIT evenbefore their debut because she leaked her private infos (she trained with NewJeans and was supposed to debut with them) to spread negativity around HYBE and also stole private marketing infos of HYBE. Lastly, MHJ wants ADOR to be independent while majority of their profits is due to HYBE's investments. Min Heejin is therefore doing anything to ruin ILLIT and HYBE and creating drama... This might affect both groups and labels.

imagine you were invited to make a new gg with the promise that you have full cooperation and creative decision but then the company hired other trainees behind your back and force you to include them in your gg lineup. when you disagree to this the company starts to belittle and sabotage your project, used your name to promote their new gg without your permission, pushing back your gg's debut date when your gg was supposed to debut 1st and then refusing to properly promote when your gg debuted. when your gg becomes more successful than the 1st gg, your company makes a new gg and plagiarized all your gg's aesthetics and concept just to show you that they can and make that new gg a direct competition to your own gg that you have worked hard to build up. then when you formally file an internal complain against the plagiarism, the company starts a public smearing campaign against you. yeah if i were MHJ i would be really pissed too

If anybody watched RUNext which was the debut program for ILLIT - there was nothing NewJeans in it at all. But, when they debuted it was all NewJeans. Tbh if newjeans had debuted from another label not related to bighit or hybe, I wouldn't care to know about them as quickly as i did. Same as txt and enhypen. Tough take but k-pop industry is so saturated, I don't care enough to sieve through millions of groups or artists to find a few that i would then like and follow their works. Debuting as younger brothers/sisters of bts made me curious of them, enough to take interest and find out if i like their works. Bts was also selective of who they collab with, even for a short dance video that they made with fellow hybe label artists. If anybody watched RUNext which was the debut program for ILLIT - there was nothing NewJeans in it at all. But, when they debuted it was all NewJeans. I think the fans of NewJeans has the right to be pissed off. If I were team NewJeans - I would be pissed off. For that 20 vs 80 ownership, it's on the contract that HYBE granted Min HeeJin the total autonomy of the management and freedom in raising artists. Then, when NewJeans was the global success - things quickly changed. No matter what happens with Bang vs Min - the thing is that this is hurting the artists both NewJeans and ILLIT. I'm sure NewJeans are sad they are treated like this. I'm sure ILLIT is pissed off because it was not their decision to copy the style and named as the copycat. They are hurting the both teams.

Tbh if newjeans had debuted from another label not related to bighit or hybe, I wouldn't care to know about them as quickly as i did. Same as txt and enhypen. Tough take but k-pop industry is so saturated, I don't care enough to sieve through millions of groups or artists to find a few that i would then like and follow their works. Debuting as younger brothers/sisters of bts made me curious of them, enough to take interest and find out if i like their works.
Bts was also selective of who they collab with, even for a short dance video that they made with fellow hybe label artists.
Now that the group has a solid superstar status and fanbase, she wants to ditch the parent company and be her own boss? If it's about difference in creative direction then at least i would understand but i feel hybe gave freedom to their artists for writing songs like they did with bts.
