people do play guitar hero. there are pros and cons to the game. pros: there isn't as big of a difficulty gap between hard and medium. the notes are a little less sensitive. cons: it's meant for gamers who are better at this kind of thing. rock band medium is easy compared to guitar hero medium. experts are still the same though
