I take a spoonful of coconut oil with a meal before I ingest my Vit D and K2. Don't forget to follow up with magnesium too.
In one of the videos of Dr. Mandel, he mentioned that Mg needs to be taken at night

Yes Vitamin D3 should be taken with fat and also with Vitamin K2.

Oh my God thank you I learned something new today. You cannot take vitamin D with water. You need to take it with food and I’ve been my vitamin D is so dangerously low. I told him to give me intervenous vitamin D. They want me to start taking vitamin D over-the-counter so I will but with food thank you very much Dr. Mandel this is why you’re one of my favorites.

I do take Vit D supplement and in fact, I take Vit C and Zinc all 3 immediately after Dinner. I got in the habit of taking them this way and I haven't been sick this winter. Thank you DrMandell! As always, great information!❤

You havent been sick because you havent picked up and viruses. Good habits and hygiene!

@ssaini5028 I do have good habits and very good hygiene in addition to taking my vitamins. Plus I don't eat alot of junk food, none really. Past two years (in winter) I was sick twice in both years, and two of those I was very sick.
Zinc should be taken at least half an hour BEFORE you eat. It is written on the packaging of my supplements (it is Zinc + Vitamin C)
Helpful and informative advice, my family Dr. asked me to take Vitamin D3 but didn’t mention as you are saying, Dr. Mandel, I always watching your videos, all are great to my health and mind; once you and your loving 🥰 Mom in a video said, how to sleep 🛌 faster and deeper with taking pinch of nutmeg, every night I am taking and sleeping 💤 soundly, 🙏 to you and pretty loving Mom. Thank you Dr. Mandell for this valuable information. I take my Vitamin D3 after I eat my dinner with Magnesium Citrate. I am trying to build up my bone mineral with food and vitamins rather than Big Pharmer's poison. You are the best Doc. ❤😊
You also have to have K2 in the D3 for proper absorption.
I heard Dr. Mandell say that magnesium glycinate was the best magnesium to take. Just putting that out.

@@laurab2637 It is Laura, but for osteoporosis magnesium citrate is the one to take. Ask your doctor. Even Dr. Mandell refers it to build the minerals in your bones. Different magnesium is for different purposes fir your body. I have also done my homework.

drink: 1 tsp turmeric,pepper with 1/2 C warm water, tsp. olive oil.
eat: two brazil nuts, couple almonds.
Then take morning vitamins including vit D.
That was first meal around lunchtime, will keep you satiated until dinner. Not expensive and easy on your system (I think??)
Omega 3 fats from those nuts are perfect with your drink and vitamins. A little magical meal to hold you over. Body gets to absorb the vitamins b4 you even eat too. This is great.

I've been on vitamin D for YEARS! Every time I get blood work, my vitamin D levels are low and my dosages get increased. I take mine at night with water most times. This video sounds like a plausible explanation for my situation and why my levels are always low, even though I take supplements daily.
My vitamin D was low and I was taking vitamin D along with K2. So I started taking it under the tongue. Now my levels are great. Go figure.
@@vallang4832I also take an Emulsified liquid vitamin D3/K under the tongue and works great for me, My functional medicine Dr. recommended it because it bypasses the liver, been using for over 10 years
