WHEN NO FUNDS ARE AVAILABLE
If the estate, closest living relative and other next of kin relatives lack the funds to pay for a funeral, the person handling the death can sign a release form at the coroner's office. The form is a declaration that you are unable to afford to bury or cremate the family member. Once signed, it releases the body to the coroner to handle the remains. If your family wishes to receive the ashes, a fee may be charged for their return. This is the law in the US. There is no need to get in debt for a funeral.
But what if they did not prepare for their own funeral? Unexpected deaths? What are the options to pay!!
Why they charge so much my mother just passed away and it's so expensive finding a funeral home
We paid for it.
Have to wonder why funerals cost as much as what the deceased was getting per year in Social Security - or the cost of a good used car. And in most cases I think most people spend double or triple that. It makes no sense to spend so much on the dead.
4TIMESAYEAR I know my brother payed for the cremations of my mom she was on social security it wasn't enough so my mom had get a cremation in instead of a caskit my brother only pay for the cremations no visitation we went in there we only had 2 minute see my mom or it would cost more to see my mom my mom was on a table with blanket on my mom when I seen that I just almost fell to the ground it was so bad that my brother and my 2 nieces and my nephew had to keep me up it still gets to me I still have my mom remains
@@millieburgess5191 Did you ever take an English class in High school? Please learn how to use periods and correct punctuations. Also it's not "caskit", it's casket.
And do and tha lord and tha love and tha lord they arent coming end tha lamb and tha lord is in and tha heart and people sunny god bless you
There is only one way to pay funeral costs- and that is to not pay them at all. Funerals are completely unnecessary. Have a family get together at your home, share the best memories of the deceased, and let the hospital deal with the body.
Go the cremation route and pay $2000 to 2500. Bring the ashes home in the plastic box they give you. Throw a Celebration of Life party at the VFW, local hall or restaurant. Invite a hand full of friends and feed them a good meal. Allow a few speeches before the meal is served This will cost another $500 to 750. The deceased will be well remembered.
@@observant98 I don't need to pay you or anyone to burn a dead body for that body to be remembered.
@@deydraniadiancecht8298 Good luck , let them sit in them morgue at the hospital and rot then. Eventually they will be cremated anyways as a John Doe case, your such an idiot, you know nothing.
