Same here, been 13 years. We were together 29 years, she let herself be used by a guy that told her all the usual bullshit, he loved her, was gonna leave his wife etc. I busted my ass for her and my family, wasn't good enough. I believe it was a mid-life crisis thing.
I'm almost at that moment of losing my wife that I love so munch. I wasn't paying much attention to her, or showed and told her how much I love her. now now she's starting to look in other places.

@@Dougthebeliever no shade but im a song writer of multiple genres including country and hip hopnis without a doubt the best when it comes to lyrics because it takes so much more intricacies and syllabolic wordplay along with melodies and double triple entendre. Country on the other hand requires detail heart and passion. But usually only for one full verse because the second verse is usually half as long as the first and there is almost never a third verse in country songs. In country if you have a strong hook you usually have a good song. I love country tho. Im just speaking from a writers perspective
@@bobbybland4979 I think I was more talking about how most country songs have a unique "twist" to the overall idea. I get your point about hip hop though. Lyrically, it's more challenging cause the song is focused more lyrically.
