It can take someone years to develop a good wokrflow on a device, and some devices are so unintuitive some never do and eventually resale the device. Big ups for showing us how you do so that we can emulate and hopefully develop some kind of offshoot workflow of our own.

PLEASEEEEE keep it going Jon, keep this series chuggin, flowin, moving...whatever, I love your beats, and watching you work is helping me ear train, so I thank you, also that part of just making what sounds good and not worrying on the process helps create good music and is fire advice, now if the money was there and they werent so adamant on samples and copyright....... thats something different in it in itself and would help make this industry enjoyable again.

I got an idea. Maybe it is shit.. But instead off recording long takes into the octatrack you can also play through the sp404mk2 and use the skipback function when you feel like you got something and then sample that in the octatrack. Anyways love the beat!

How do you clean your samples , i‘m always confused about this point.
I make beats since 2006 and I never cleaned a sample . I make beats as a hobbyist but these days sometimes i get Paranoia about this point . Whats your oppinion about this.
