I’m in Mesquite, Texas for my little cousin’s graduation, and they made the graduates meet at the school at 8:30 a.m. (1:00 p.m. graduation) to load onto buses and travel to the venue. Each graduate received 9 tickets but could pay for 2 more.
This past weekend there was like the whole Forney isd graduating class in my subdivision. Called the police and the lst stragglers keft after 1am because they got left behind. Congratulations on graduating, now go home!

If they're going to do paid parking, then why not do offsite lots and shuttle buses with dedicated entry? Like the Houston rodeo. idk. I suppose it's just another day around Houston

😢, this was like this at my nephew's graduation 🎓. It was sooo stressful and the traffic 🚦 was ridiculous.
Next time whoever graduates should sleep in the school parking lot.😂And remember to have your coffee and breakfast ready with you.

Wow the seniors are running to there graduation ceremony my school district made us be at the our cemetery like 3 to 4 hours before the graduation ceremony started to make sure everybody made it there on time and wasn’t late
Well, we paid for parking for H S graduation in Austin , Tx. It’s was no problem at all.. people need to go early.. we had no problem at all. Everything was arranged nicely… good thing , students were bussed from school to location… parents gave them ride back to school after ceremony… 🎉
Glad I stay in Arkansas smooth less people I like Texas just Texas overcrowded this is insane I literally could come at 550pm for 6pm graduation 👩🏽🎓 in Arkansas still be on time they need to set it up better insane.

To many people, my high school graduation in 2005, we had it at the Masonic Temple started at 1pm. The parking was free. Each Senior in my class had free 10 tickets each and can buy extra tickets if your family very big. My 4 year old son came behind stage while we were lining up. Ask me can he walk with me. lucky my step mom got him for me. Now class 2024, no tickets, free parking be having their at University football fields in my city. I went to two different ones. My son high school in 2020 was small they have it at the school.

If traffic was this bad going to another venue, imagine what it would be like at the school. Maybe parking lots and space is bigger in Houston, but schools in Metro Atl do not have the space for hundreds of graduates with each graduate having anywhere from 5 to 10 family members attending, and definitely no school has a parking lot big enough to handle all of the cars.
This is a Fort Bend ISD mistake SHAME on FBISD! SHAME on you!!!!
