Hi, fellow wahoo here! I think it's our school systems that teach us to always be thinking. Everything we do in school is cognitive. One of the best things I have done for my health is to learn to truly quiet my mind, and believe it is okay to do so. Let's teach our kids how to both learn as a whole body experience and to rest as a whole body experience.
It's the modality of learning. I haven't even listened to this one yet I'm just looking through comments and I love this one. When we go into the current school structure, the physical part of us is trained as an animal. The body is taught to;
Sit.
Stay
Memorize for reward.
Ask for permission to be human (speak or defecate).
This is POWERFUL. The body is taught to obey like a dog. Then, you get the information being fed to the animal. We choose this part when it comes to career paths but that programming of the body happens very early and is consistent for 12+ years. Now think about how we are also of the mindset that "you clock in. Clock out. Leave work at work." This is universal, right? What else has been universal and resulted in violations against human rights and freedom of choice, simply because of this, "I'm just doing my job" mindset? This is why earth angels have a hard time standing up. This is why good cops have a hard time speaking out under that code of blue nonsense. This is why teachers defend things that are not of their business (CRT, inappropriate sex education protocols). This is why politicians play the popularity game rather than do what is right, too. Right and Wrong are not the same as opinion but the programming overrides our true sense of what that is when we are clocked in under all that programming. This is also often why people don't come into their spiritual awakenings or higher consciousness much later in life, if not by a NDE. This is why triggers are even a thing. The body doesn't forget.
I have often thought that about reading too, and I'm an avid reader. We stress reading so early, even reading to the fetus, but something is lost with that undeniably useful skill...a direct connection to life that's difficult to regain.
@@TerriblePerfection wow thank you for sharing that perspective. I hadn't considered it but of course it has an impact on the fetus.. the soul doesn't enter the body until after birth but the environment matters, the way the mother thinks and feels and eats matters, and if the mother is of the mindset of the information she is reading to her unborn baby, those thought frequencies imprint on the baby's cells. Wow. See knowledge is power and thinking for yourself makes you unstoppable. This isn't how it works when you are fed information then given questions to FORM your opinion on the subject matter by choosing how it is worded and what makes it correct.

I think I've been on my long and very complex path towards my discovery of this community. To find and explore and engage with this, my new, tribe. Having come yet again to a place where I have to reintegrate the many scattered parts of myself and fight against the many mental health labels I have been decorated with. My innate knowledge that I was breaking through rather than breaking down simply made me more of an oddity and without support and whilst trying to nurture singlehandedly my two children I was more resolutely diagnosed as mad with a capitol M. Synchronicity brought me to a Dr Zach youtube post yesterday. I feel blessed that my belief that we are soul embodied and that at an essential level we are enough just as we are is reflected and magnified in this community and will sustain me and scaffold the fragile stuff in me til the suchness is honed to I AM ness.

You have in two days (since I found you) enlightened me, amazed me, affirmed my (I thought) fairly singular worldview, and given me an intelligent and wondrous human with leadership qualities, with the capacity to see everything in the universe is connected and able to express complicated concepts in terms nearly everyone can grasp. I watched several videos the first day, and shared several links (a couple with Rick, including the monologue clip). I saw one where you mentioned you had to shed the contribution of being a medical doctor in Western Society, for your own growth (I think I came close with that). My heart sank that I wouldn't be able to hope someday...Anyway, I am here, now, absorbing as much as I can, and I thank you for being here, now.

Wendy Neumeyer - I think, instead of Rick, you are referring to Rich (Roll) podcast. Zach has been a guest on it a couple of times which is how I found him and listened to the full podcast (twice) and the monologue. It is powerful, like his words were channeling my brain and creating new neurological pathways! Anyway, Zach or as I refer to him as the soil doc is high on my list. Check out the ION product he refers to as "the product" because he is not promoting it on the podcasts, but it is something worth looking into.

I’m writing notes of this final segment and I started laughing when he said that “you’re the one sitting in the corner of the playground being like I wish I could play.” I’ve been journaling daily for 3 months after adopting a plant based diet. I realized I wasn’t playing enough. So incorporated more deliberate play time and I feel so much better. Incidentally I also stated taking the ION product and got the spray for my skin too. I now can look and feel youthful while I am playing!

Have you looked into Serrepeptase (sp) enzyme?
It is from silkworms. The enzyme they produce to open their cocoon.
It has to be taken on an empty stomach or it is just a good digestive enzyme.
It is suppose to help the body not form scar tissue.
I don''t know about pain relief.
Scar tissue and pain may be related. Maybe not.

But please do not call the body a meat suit. It is a living entity ,it is sentient, with it's own trajectory. The soul and the body form a symbiotic relationship. The soul can only have the experiences here on earth because the body hosts it. Calling the body a meat suit is so derogatory.
dont know, watching dead people really is like watching an abandoned meat suit. Thats at least for me. Of course i take care of it 100% of my body until i am alive because thats makes me feel better and improve myself as a person... but is a tool even if a fundamental one.
If you listen to what's in between his words, and feel his intention when he says meat suit, there isn't an ounce of any derogatory energy. But you can thank him for being a mirror to show you something within yourself that could use some love and healing. Attachment to one way of seeing things is always indication of an imbalance within.
That's your subjective experience of what was said. I rather doubt that any criticism or disrespect was intended! Words can only point to, or approximate, an idea. Look beyond them.
@@TerriblePerfection Agreed ! I felt it was a playful and fun way to describe our physical 3- bodies. He was using it in a Playful way which is one of the Tenets.
He was just being "Playful" I felt which is apparently one of the "Tenet's". We can see clearly needed in these times to survive and thrive!
