This game is the literal fusion of Devil May Cry and Final Fantasy
Epic, and those cinematics are insane.

@lol zz but its not lol its just another move were the character teleports doing a bunch of slices not even the same animation in fact in dynasty warriors plenty of characters do the same and even ryu from ninja gaiden does a similar move

Bad sound affects on attacks. Attacks need heavy weight sound effects like god of war to make the combat feel godly. Eventhough god of war has lesser moves to dispose off I would still choose that game over this as the better combat due to sounds making the moves have impact.

That "surfing" bit after the imperial ship attacked looked a bit stiff, but god damn I can see what my man Bing Yang and the boys have been spending their time on, this whole level is stunning.
Yeah the surfing looks a little slow. There should be a boost option

But this 2021 gameplay looks like developed has regressed to bit, jankier animations, hard to follow camera, no UI anymore, fuzzy character model quality. Compare this to that YT vid link from 4 years ago, that looks more finished than this 2021 one.

I love that everyone is supportive and not rushing this man and his team. I will admit that it sucks waiting and getting small peaks every couple years. This year being the opposite and getting an amazing 18 min clip.
I was already on board with this game and now I hope this game gets the recognition it deserves and that Yang and his team get recognition as well. This looks amazing and I hope I get to play this game at some point

I like how they’ve gone ALL IN on particle effects... this game looks gorgeous.
This is a master piece!!! The only (small) criticism I would make is to change the sound effect of the sward slicing the enemy. It sounds like a punch instead of a slice made by a metal object.
Apart from that.... it's pure PERFECTION!!!!! the game hasn't even been released and I am already throwing money at the screen!!!!!
Anyone remember when this project started out of impatience for the release of FFXV? There's a joke to be had there now.
@Carter James its inevitable when this was inspired by Noctis from FFXV. The dev even said so.
But now it has evolved to create it's own combination of gameplay, graphics and characters.
Bing would be honored if people to kept comparing it to Final Fantasy haha 😂

One thing I felt missing is voice effects of the player and enemies during combat. Attack exertions and damage groans.

Though I'd like more slashing sounds when you hit enemies with a sword. They all sound like you hit them with a stick.

This game never fails to blow my mind, I always think that every trailer is better than the last and idk how you keep raising the bar! This is of course visually stunning, I love the imagery for the dragon and the almost crystalline structures that it is made of, it's such a gorgeous idea. The music is incredible as always and the gameplay is silky smooth, I'm very intruiged by the storyline. Very excited to see where this game goes, it's been 4 years and it's only onwards and upwards from here!
