It's kind of odd that his belongings were found with the remains. IF the area was under water, waist deep water, wouldn't that bag have floated or moved elsewhere? If animals dragged away his body, would the bag stay right there with those few remains? I don't know, but it seems kind of odd to me.

Even if they could the results would be the same, inconclusive. All we have are skull and bone fragments for Brian and it's upto the anthropologist and that notebook to hopefully find some answers to this case. I doubt there will ever be full closure for the Petito family but I think it's obvious to everyone what really happened and it's time to let them rest in peace.

It’s sad yes but it’s even worse knowing there’s people wanting “ answers “ and even if they get the so called answers it still won’t be good enough in their minds. Here’s a thought, stop worrying about people that you don’t even know and focus your positive attention on the loved ones in your own life. People are so attracted to drama that serves no purpose in their own personal life and allowing it to consume them it’s pathetic

That is way more likely than oh they just happened to find him on day 1. They must have known he'd be there if they went back on the first day the water subsided. Isn't that pretty odd too that they went back on the day the path was open? They must have not told the cops where they intended to look. All that swamp and they happen to find the notebook on the trail? What are the odds that the bag would be so close to the trail? And what a coincidence that a couple of narcissists would be able to maintain so much control in this situation. I'm not even convinced Brian ever came back from the Fort de Soto trip however the cops must have evidence that Brian was there. It's a 1 day and 16 hour walk from Fort de Soto park to the site of the body. The cadaver dogs would have smelled Brian near his car and followed that scent in the area and naturally they would have been focusing on that part of the park.

Brian Laundrie's family knew that he had serious mental problems in his brain, yet they neglected to mention that to Gabby's family that she could be in imminent danger if he ever decided to stop his meds for any reason. I personally didn't know either one of them from tik-tok, but, I just learned about them through this tragedy. it just makes me wonder what he told his parents after he came back home without Gabby? it must've really tormented him on what he did to Gabby, to willingly put yourself in a vicious Florida swamp and wait for your own demise. I'm sure he knew he was a worm by that point. I'm pretty sure that Gabby went to Heaven bcz she was murdered, but, I can't say the same for him..only God knows? so, please, people raise your kids right to prevent tragedies like this from happening to your kids, raise them up with the Holy Bible so they will know the values of life and how precious their lives are to God. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

It may have been hard to discuss mental illness in the Laundrie family if Brian was mentally abused or neglected as a child.??? Serial killers and murderers usually are loners and outcasts. If it was not the nurture aspect than it was the nature aspect of causing him to kill. Schizophrenia. Nature vs. nurture or nature and nurture.
Most cases of domestic violence, sexual assault and violence in the community the perpetrators are male. Is the cause due to violent movies , video games and pornography on the internet? Brian read a lot of sadistic books and posted sadistic drawings in his Facebook and Instagram accounts.

The reason is EASY. They were young. They had a progressive, toxic relationship. Gabby was been brain-washed into believing what he said & he manipulated her. Did you not hear that Brian went off at a waittress in a restaurant and Gabby apologized to the waittress for his behavior? Wouldn't that make Brian angry? May be, it carried over to where he strangled her that same day. She told the MOAB police that Brian had held her face. She minimized what he had done since the eye witness who called 911 saw him slap her. That is the relationship...She excuses, rationalizes, minimizes and is ACCEPTING this behavior (as normal) and it escalated to where he kills her. When you strangle someone, it is usually to shut them up. He was close enough to her....to strangle her.

Honestly I wouldn’t be surprised if he told them he was going to kill himself and where his body would be, which is why they didn’t join in on the search until it was taking too long for FBI to find him, they then went in and either planted some of his belongings close enough to where his remains were and pretended to “find” them in order to “speed up” the search in finding him, just my two cents

Water actually usually decomposes bodies slower in a way... especially cool water... anyway like someone else said... if they took a cadaver dog there even if the bones were in the water the dog would have smelled it Besides they said it was 2-3ft of water lol

Nope, Cayley Marie Anthony was dumped in a swamp by her mother, Casey, and was there for about two months or so. Coroners could not determine the cause of her death. Water most certainly can decompose a body in short time, especially if there are alligators and other critters there to eat away at the body. A Florida swamp is not a good place to preserve a human body. It’s a good place to get rid of one so it decomposes quickly or gets devoured by animals.
