It's kind of odd that his belongings were found with the remains. IF the area was under water, waist deep water, wouldn't that bag have floated or moved elsewhere? If animals dragged away his body, would the bag stay right there with those few remains? I don't know, but it seems kind of odd to me.
Depends on the weight and contents of the bag..
Maybe he had a backpack on him
Trees & bushes prolly held some stuff in position. And the weight of any enclosed objects.
@@gabrielgalaxygh like on his head maybe? since all that was found was a partial skull... ironically, the part that would be identified through dental records.
That is right.
I hope Gabby’s family insist on an independent autopsy.
They can’t, they aren’t next of kin.
And WHO do you think is going to pay for that autopsy?
Even if they could the results would be the same, inconclusive. All we have are skull and bone fragments for Brian and it's upto the anthropologist and that notebook to hopefully find some answers to this case. I doubt there will ever be full closure for the Petito family but I think it's obvious to everyone what really happened and it's time to let them rest in peace.

Lol I’ve followed this from minute 1 and I deserve to know what happened too!!
I try to put myself in their shoes.... if my child had done something horrific and I knew about it... there's that unconditional love that you want to protect your baby but then there is the fact that they did something unimaginable. They were under an intense amount of pressure and stress and they did what the lawyers told them to do.
You never know what you will do in situations but they really made this much more difficult and unbearable for the petito family and law enforcement than it already was.
I don't feel bad for them ..but then I can't help but wonder what they know and how they are dealing with it and how it's extremely traumatic in every aspect.

The remains were underwater for weeks. When the park reopened, Mom and Dad Laundrie homed in on those remains like bloodhounds on a fresh trail. Waddaya know about that....
Hey! We live in "The World" where all kinds of stupid things happen
with even stupider excuses given. That's why I don't believe this story.
Honed, homed is not a word..
Maybe they knew where he'd be and dropped the bag there or maybe he said he would leave the bag there. He could have shot himself somewhere else and had the snake lawyer place him there. That is way more likely than oh they just happened to find him on day 1. They must have known he'd be there if they went back on the first day the water subsided. Isn't that pretty odd too that they went back on the day the path was open? They must have not told the cops where they intended to look. All that swamp and they happen to find the notebook on the trail? What are the odds that the bag would be so close to the trail? And what a coincidence that a couple of narcissists would be able to maintain so much control in this situation. I'm not even convinced Brian ever came back from the Fort de Soto trip however the cops must have evidence that Brian was there. It's a 1 day and 16 hour walk from Fort de Soto park to the site of the body. The cadaver dogs would have smelled Brian near his car and followed that scent in the area and naturally they would have been focusing on that part of the park.
THATS T !!!! BL aware of the rising water and took advantage of losing himself in Death ...

there's hundreds of thousands of missing and murdered children every year. I'm betting it was an alligator or a snake. Maybe both if he was bitten then found by an alligator. Gators take their catches and shove them under fallen trees and logs under water. I grew up in that area. Lots of copperheads and moccasins in those swampy areas and in the canals.

They mentioned something about him running out of food & died as a result. That's a slow death of which I don't he'd done in the condition. He'd want to die quick & not so painful. He could have slipped in, but how are you going to verify that? He knew the area & knew how to swim. Well we will see.

This stank from the beginning if cops stopping Brian and Gabby and them not having perception that Gabby was a battered frightened young girl.
He could have put them in a waterproof bag - he and Gabby spent a lot of time hiking etc, so they undoubtedly had many. I have 4 myself, and am only a casual hiker.
Can't blame the cops. If this has happened at their apartment they would have handled it the same way. Separate for the night and alot If times that's enough to cool things down.
that's messed up! that's two families that raised their kids, got them through school, celebrated all those birthdays and Christmases, and all the other times in between! wow, its just a sad ending for both families, but my heart goes out to Gabby's family the most! Brian Laundrie's family knew that he had serious mental problems in his brain, yet they neglected to mention that to Gabby's family that she could be in imminent danger if he ever decided to stop his meds for any reason. I personally didn't know either one of them from tik-tok, but, I just learned about them through this tragedy. it just makes me wonder what he told his parents after he came back home without Gabby? it must've really tormented him on what he did to Gabby, to willingly put yourself in a vicious Florida swamp and wait for your own demise. I'm sure he knew he was a worm by that point. I'm pretty sure that Gabby went to Heaven bcz she was murdered, but, I can't say the same for him..only God knows? so, please, people raise your kids right to prevent tragedies like this from happening to your kids, raise them up with the Holy Bible so they will know the values of life and how precious their lives are to God. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Being murdered doesn't get you into heaven. Read that Bible you're talking about to find out what it says about getting into heaven.
This is how I feel too. It’s very sad.
@BossLady well he killed Gabby and more than likely offed himself in a swamp, so there's that ..
Talking about mental illness and not to stigmatize it. Recognizing signs in a family. How many times do you hear of mass shootings to describe the shooter as a quiet loner and outcast? It may have been hard to discuss mental illness in the Laundrie family if Brian was mentally abused or neglected as a child.??? Serial killers and murderers usually are loners and outcasts. If it was not the nurture aspect than it was the nature aspect of causing him to kill. Schizophrenia. Nature vs. nurture or nature and nurture.
Most cases of domestic violence, sexual assault and violence in the community the perpetrators are male. Is the cause due to violent movies , video games and pornography on the internet? Brian read a lot of sadistic books and posted sadistic drawings in his Facebook and Instagram accounts.

Gosh I'm so heartbroken for the family of Gabby Petito, now they'll never know the reason why, LE and others can only speculate which is absolutely heartbreaking...
The reason why is because he is a pos.
He wouldn’t have talked anyway
The reason is EASY. They were young. They had a progressive, toxic relationship. Gabby was been brain-washed into believing what he said & he manipulated her. Did you not hear that Brian went off at a waittress in a restaurant and Gabby apologized to the waittress for his behavior? Wouldn't that make Brian angry? May be, it carried over to where he strangled her that same day. She told the MOAB police that Brian had held her face. She minimized what he had done since the eye witness who called 911 saw him slap her. That is the relationship...She excuses, rationalizes, minimizes and is ACCEPTING this behavior (as normal) and it escalated to where he kills her. When you strangle someone, it is usually to shut them up. He was close enough to her....to strangle her.
Maybe he died in karma
I hope the family of Gabby will get some answers and closure. This whole situation has been crazy!
The real question that should be asked is how did Brian laundrie fake his own death.
You watch too many TV shows.
How did he die ? Don't care ...what he did was unconscionable to Gabby ,left her and her remains to the wild life..leave his there too..
Florida pd and FBI hold this L what took y’all a month, Chris and Roberta found in 30min
If a gator got him dont think much suffering would go on. That gator would bite clamp down and pull him in to the water and do continuous death rolls...he would be dead by roll 2...
FL stay being trash
It's difficult for the FBI to solve a case they didn't create.
Honestly I wouldn’t be surprised if he told them he was going to kill himself and where his body would be, which is why they didn’t join in on the search until it was taking too long for FBI to find him, they then went in and either planted some of his belongings close enough to where his remains were and pretended to “find” them in order to “speed up” the search in finding him, just my two cents
@@mariaoconnor3740 i say either that or they grabbed a body and changed his teeth to match Brian’s after the family knew he was long gone. Either way that family is scum. Don’t underestimate this family. They are very well connected.
We are made mostly of water. The body can decompose rapidly under certain conditions and be bones in a short time.
Water actually usually decomposes bodies slower in a way... especially cool water... anyway like someone else said... if they took a cadaver dog there even if the bones were in the water the dog would have smelled it Besides they said it was 2-3ft of water lol
Your body most likely would be ate up by the animals, gators especially could take whole body parts, and the body consumed by several predators.
He can not decompose that quick ! Water takes longer to decompose plus he would have floated to the surface and fbi would have seen him
Cadaver dogs can detect human remains 20 feet below water and can detect a scent between fifty and five hundred yards away.
Nope, Cayley Marie Anthony was dumped in a swamp by her mother, Casey, and was there for about two months or so. Coroners could not determine the cause of her death. Water most certainly can decompose a body in short time, especially if there are alligators and other critters there to eat away at the body. A Florida swamp is not a good place to preserve a human body. It’s a good place to get rid of one so it decomposes quickly or gets devoured by animals.
@@penelopelopez8296 they even said on the news where I live that the water slows it down and the dogs would have been able to sniff him out and his body would have rose to the top because of the gases. My gut tells me that SOB is still alive and there’s no way they checked that area didn’t find him and the day his parents finally come out of hiding find him !
Anyone who keep their fish in 80degree water know how quick decomposition can happen. For a fish it’s decomposed to a pile of goo in less than a day.
Yes but we are not fish.
Yeah, but too many wildlife ready to eat a free dead meal too.

Bloating would make his body float to surface but apparantly he dissolved in swamp water. Why anthropologists not coroners? Anthropologists study fossils of old prehistoric bones of my people. Seems odd!!!
The coroner couldn’t determine a cause due to not enough tissue so they recommended the anthropologist.
The Laundrie's have been very quiet just like what Brian has done, hiding from authorities avoiding his accountability. Like family like son.
Since they found a partial skull, we can assume that there was substantial trauma at some point
Large or small, gators teeth and crushing jaws. He was ate at the gator diner .
I feel like they should test the bone or soft tissue to truly verify if it was him. Everything is just so “coincidental” and now a cremation? I mean if he was capable of taking a life and parents cover up his mess some people are so deranged who knows if he allowed something to happen to himself to throw the world off.
