    At 11:40 that is a compressor. The long cylinder on the side might be copper take a magnet to it to find out. I have drilled holes in many compressors mainly large ones and drained the oil, and then cut open to extract the motor inside for the copper. Note: Use a file to check and see it’s not copper coded aluminum. Great video, Tyler.

    The big heavy gears, a lot of people that rented rowboats back in the old days, used the big gears for boat anchors because most places also charged for anchor rental plus the boat rental cost. Especially the gear with the wire I bet was used for an anchor plus window weights were used also for anchors. Stay safe. Cheers.😊

  • @CajunMFN
    @CajunMFN Před 2 měsíci +1

    Hey there Tyler, I like the old hood ornament, hub caps, all of those big gears, I think that’s an old musket shot to, look up this stuff called ChemPrime it’s a rust converter and inhibitor to use on metal to help the rust stop and turn it into working metal again, I’ve used it a bunch of times and it works great, just make sure you follow the instructions on the jug, after you use that stuff you can primer the metal and paint it to look how you want it to, a lot of the stuff you saved would make good yard ornaments on your farm, I hope you have a great day brother.

    There's a product usually used for patio decks that solidify rotting wood. You may want to try that. Crank thing is a string reel for flying a kite. Nash made miniature cars. The metropolitan and the cosmopolitan were the names of them. They were small and easily maneuvered . Women liked them for bopping around to the grocery store etc. i have actually seen one or two in my childhood. The thing with #22 i think is a really old sump pump for basement or something. I have one sitting in my basement. Woodbury is skincare products. The jar is 1930s Milk glass, which is where the value is. But not much😢

    😅those hubcaps with no emblem that are just like a dome, I think are what they used to call Baby Moons, they were popular on old roadsters in the 50's and 60's I think..... I might be off on the time frame but I'm pretty sure lol.. real cool...Also Nash Motor company was from your part of the country so you got some real down home history in that one hubcap they ran from 1916-1937 so real old that one . They were completely gone by 1954.

    Nash was a car company that eventually throuygh mergers turned into AMC (american motor company). that weird looking thing ALMOST looks like it could be a small 5th wheel reciever... IDK what a person would need or use one that small for though. That tiny muffler looks like what's called a resonator. That odd hubcap, is what's called a "spinner" hubcap, they were made to emulate the spin off hubs used on race cars back in the day. That cart looks almost like a grass seeder cart but I didnt spot any exit chute so IDK.

    Per Wikipedia, Nash Motors Company was an American auto manufacturer based in Kenosha WI from 1916 to 1937. It was founded by Charles W. Nash. The autos were manufactured in Racine and Milwaukee WI. From 1937 to 1954 it was the auto division of Nash-Kelvinator Corp. Kelvinator was the leading manufacturer of high-end refrigerators and kitchen appliances. Then Nash merged with Hudson Motors to form American Motors Corp. Under AMC the Nash auto production continued to 1957. Innovations by Nash included: auto heating and ventilation system that is still in use today (beginning in 1938), unibody construction (beginning in 1941), seat belts (1950), a US-built compact car (1950), and an early muscle car (1957). In 1936 Nash introduced the “bed-in-a-car” feature. The rear seat backs were hinged so the back cushion could be propped in a level position and 2 people could sleep with their heads and shoulders on the rear cushions and their legs and feet in the trunk. In 1949, the front seats were designed to fully recline so a sleeping area was created inside the passenger compartment. In 1950, the seatbacks were made to lock into a variety of positions. The seats were called “Airliner Reclining Seats.” As Tyler would say, pretty cool!!

    The embosser is commonly used to legalize and authenticate legally binding documents. They are most often made to display a company name or officer of the company who has the power to enforce the company’s policies. Most companies guard them very closely as they can be stolen and used for nefarious purposes.
