Hey Ben...I couldn't be happier for you! I was taking care of my mother as she was passing from brain cancer during your journey. Watching you smash it gave me an escape from what was going on. Mom and I would sit and watch your videos smashing monsters and mom loved it too. We were both rooting for you...I'll never forget Momma's big grin when I told her you made it to the Classic! She lost her fight April 20th, but I'm still rootin for ya in this Cinderella story! Get it Ben, do it for you and for us dreamers too! Praying for ya as well buddy!

Well Ben, Kerr lake was TOUGH!! Powell Kemp, who won it is an absolute HAMMER on Kerr/Buggs Island.
I am about an hour from Buggs on the NC side - it's a great fishery with tons of fish but man is a lake that if you catch 16lbs a day you are doing something - any time of year and in the best conditions.
You guys had terrible conditions, huge fronts moved through the area during practice bringing tons of rain and mud and though it doesn't fish big, it usually fishes high in numbers of fish.
You kept grinding and got some decent points still!! Such a great time watching you and your success!!

Great job on the win. Planned on getting on the water at Kerr to attempt to locate Red 402. No luck other stuff got in my way. I did get to the weigh in today and would liked to have met you. In reality you and several guys were a couple big fish away. Also, placed my 1st order a couple days ago and got the Hogwalla's and my first Draw 6.5. So if I speak to Coleslaw while fishing thinkin it will help.

That's so cool man, congrats. I saw the 6th sense drops last week, just got mine in the mail, the small draw and a few packs of the new 10 inch worms and the magnum catwalk. I'm waiting on that magnum flush. The flush has become probably my most important "limit maker" bait over the past couple years. I hardly throw a senko at all anymore, I throw a weightless flush cuz it does a shimmy as it falls and stays right side up so you can twitch it and let it fall, twitch twitch, stop....etc I flip it sometimes too, drag it on a t-rig, and it makes an absolutely amazing full size chattbait trailer. So I can't wait for that big flush to come out. I hope you guys eventually release a small flush too. I know you have the juggle minnow, which i use on my mini max chatterbaits and on spinnerbaits, but I'd love a mini flush too.

good job hope one day I can get back out there don't know if it will ever happen but still will be fishing may find another club I've fished the opens one year back in the 90s and been on a state team that I should have won but was young and let it get away hope you keep wearing them out this year
Best derby I ever had was off a Carolina rig red/black 10in worm caught a 26lb bag that derby but I haven't been able to fish since I've had my 3 strokes. Good luck bud
