Climb your elo a bit more and then you’ll find people who actually know how to fight a kendo instead of taking flower passage like a free Costco handout. Any mixups a hakuda user attempts will end up in the combo breaking since the opponent can just DASH and dodge the mixup

As someone who has played hakuda, my god this is true, the fact you can just turn around a bit then inmediatly turn back to negate any opportunity they have at parrying, even without shori or skillboxes its still way too busted(dont use the hyperarmor moves arguments, most of those have twice the cooldown as the whole hakuda kit) now ontop of that put a decent skillbox and a decent shikai partial or schrift and then parrying is out of the window, because you get stunned by one of their shikai moves(or demonic embrace, lets not forget that bs) and back to the combo hell you go.

Since the community is very slow ill show yall how to couner hakuda, 1)learn shiori animation, once you know thr shiori animation u can literally just block it cuz it does no posture damage 2) if you are hit by a move that pulls you into the air like toras reach or shiori, wait until it fully pulls you into the air then click q as soon as they queue their next move. It wil count as a dodge and you will fall out their combo. 3) just like step 2 if your hit by a combo starter, just wait until they fully pull you into the air then just start spam clicking, the game is so poorly designed that you can m1 out of hakuda combos 3.5) have a counter If u do this and still lose to hakuda just quit

Because hakuda is really not that good, it's very predictable and it's so easy to get out the combos due to there not being many mixups
