    People really need to pay attention to what you’ve got going on.. The way your saws run is really something..

    The 661 I ran could pull a 6’ bar, but didn’t have the zip of a 395. I’d say as you go up in wood size, things might start getting interesting. Great video man👍🏻

      Doug, I’ve always felt like it’s the opposite. Like 395s have more low end grunt and 661s are more peaky. Then I watched Joes video on 90cc saws on his dyno and I feel like it backs that feeling up. Excellent video Phil, looks like both are real strong runners.

      @@ryancarmony6666 Redbull661 and Treemonkey have both tested these saws head to head, Both having the 661 come out top

      I’ve seen red bulls 661 vs 395 video and I know both were ported by Scott. I feel like that was a tired 395… stock for stock before the 395s hp de rate I haven’t seen a 661 win in big wood

      @@ryancarmony6666 a newly ported saw by Scott is tired? Lets just face it, Scott has the 661’s figured out

    They both cut very nicely but the 395 is an absolute animal. Nice work 👍👍

      Thanks! Yes they are, one of my favorite models to port.

    Dam they are both strong saws but that 395 is stoopid fast. Nice work 👍👍

    Nice! Are you taking on port jobs? I'm looking to get my ms460 ported in the future. It's like new maybe 20 hours on the saw.

    Both saws are wicked. What is holding the 661 3 seconds back from the 395. Simple terms cutting rpm=chain speed correct?

    • @philschukraft89
      @philschukraft89  Před 7 měsíci +2

      Yes and it takes torque to pull chain to sustain speed. The 395 has more stroke, so a tad more torque.

    How would a ported 592 compare to that 395?
