In this video, I wanted to make a banana soap without banana puree. First I made the banana tea by cutting banana peels and boiling them in distilled water then strained it and let it cool (I thought I recorded that part but when I looked I hadn't) If you all want to see what I do to make it let me know. In the mica, I mixed TD and yellow, in hindsight I should have used a little more yellow, the soap turned out great. Thanks for watching y'all💜

    Thank you for sharing.
I would like to see how you made the banana tea. After you made the banana tea, did you freeze it before adding the lye?
Lye seems to discolor most room-temperature liquids. If the liquid is frozen, it tends to retain its color. During the warmer times of the year, I used an ice bath too.

I boiled the banana peel. Let it cool to room temperature then used it. I didn't not freeze it because I need my lye mix to get really hot. I don't want my lye solution to be cool. If I'm doing low temp, I may freeze it then. But it takes longer to soap and I'm in impatient soaper...lol
