  • 15 Everyday Habits For A Clean And Organized Kitchen
    Hello friends! During this Lock-down most of us were doing all our household chores by ourselves. Keeping all the areas clean, at all the time was a challenge especially kitchen; which is the most used area in the entire house. But we all found some shortcuts or developed habits to maintain cleanliness. By following few cleanings and organizing habits, I kept my sane during this lock-down and the same habits I have shared with you in this video. These are not new or unique, but the habits we usually forget to follow which leads to a messy and unorganized kitchen.
    Hope you enjoy watching it!

    Ashu ji thanks a lot for sharing these tips...the best part about your videos is the understated nature. The presentation is simple, yet effective(no messy camera angles, no poor lighting and everything reeks of quality). Also the tips shared are really common to everyone - you don't emphasize on buying a particular product for particular organization like the spoon rest which need not be bought by everyone by shelling out a lot of money. A simple plate would do the job as you depicted. Great going. We hope you reach 1M mark soon.
    Those who agree, Simplify Your Space is the de facto standard for Indian household organization, hit like

  • @ersonali12
    @ersonali12 Před 4 lety +8

    Importantly, clean as you go ! :)
    As someone pointed, keep newspaper beneath especially while preparing chapatis.
    Label all the steel boxes and arrange each category in same row. Example: all breakfast items together in one row, masala etc in the next, dals and masala in one.
    Pantry should be separate from daily needs. Daal stock in a bigger container and a little away from daily dose of daal.
    Multiple napkins.
    Keep utensils back once it's dry before you wash next set of utensils as wet ones placed on dry makes all of them wet and way too many utensils to be kept back.
    If many members use kitchen area, keep things accessible for them. Happy cleaning 😊

I like to follow ur ideas but not to complete it as required since my children of 6 yrs and 2 yrs creates a lot of havoc inside house when I start for some work. If i may suggest, I was buying a new Hob today only. It was a glass top, the Sales executive strictly asked us not to clean the glass hob with wet cloth or water or any liquid immediately after cooking. Instead used a dry cloth if at all necessary & then when it cools down may use a damp cloth or spray it. Reason - hot glass is porne to damage due to variation in temperature.

      Yes I would also suggest you to make a video on home makers who works 24*7 without getting paid .... I’m about to quit job to take care of my son as due to covid 19 we are not in favour of keeping nany for my baby...... I accidentally saw your video last year ( when I was on maternity leave ) since then you inspire me to keep home clean and organised though sometimes it becomes messy as I skip areas bcoz of hectic job n baby

    Hello madam, I want the DIY washing machine cleaning powder becoz during this lockdown time it's difficult to purchase discale powder..

    • @SimplifyYourSpace
      @SimplifyYourSpace  Před 4 lety +4

      Just pour 1 cup of vinegar and half cup of baking soda in the washing machine and put the washing machine on drum cleaning. If you don't have that option in your machine then put the machine on longest cycle with hot wate ( 60 degrees)

      You don't get the actual vinegar these days in shops easily.

    Instead of using spice box, we can use individual 200g container for jeera, mustard etc. We can empty full 200g in the container, in the jar. And spices wont mix up, like in the spice box
