How shameful would it be to lose this? The Westerners come to India for this knowledge, we don't go there. So in that sense, of course it is more Indian culture than European culture or Western culture.

I'm not telling to loose it I want people to embrace it but what we call culture is not actually culture but Dharam. Culture is for specified geographical boundaries.
Hare Krishna is not Indian culture or western culture or Chinese culture but it's God knowledge and for all.
Krishna was born in the darkness of the night, into the locked confines of a jail.
However, at the moment of his birth, all the guards fell asleep, the chains were broken and the barred doors gently opened. Similarly, as soon as Krishna (Chetna, Awareness) takes birth in our hearts, all darkness (Negativity) fades. All chains (Ego, I, Me, Myself) are broken.
And all prison doors we keep ourselves in (Caste, Religion, Profession, Relations etc) are opened.
And that is the real Message And Essence of Janmashtmi.

Of course people in India DO partake in huge religious festival by the 1000s many. Aren't THE biggest religious gatherings on Earth in India? Kumb Mela, Jaganath Puri Rath Yatra, the Vittala bhaktas' gatherings in Maharashtra & many more. But it IS amazing that this is happening in Poland & other countries in the West.

We in India have grown up watching the Ramleela on Dussehra. This presentation of Ramayana was interesting. I found it very emotional and vivid. It was indeed a commendable feat by the performers. In an amazing way, you just filfilled my dream. I just watched this video, took a nap shortly after it, AND during my nap I had an awesome transcendental dream wherein I visited this festival in Poland.
In my Poland-Festival-Dream, just now, I was walking around enjoying the transcendental & festive atmosphere. I even met Indrajumna Swami & bought a Bhagavad Geeta & some incense. I have always wanted to go to it & serve in it, but family constraints always prevented me. Thank you for allowing me to go to the famous Hare Krishna Polish festival.

I was lucky to take part in first of 2 Tours in 1991 and 1992. It is amazing that for so many years Indradyumna Swami is doing that service in Poland.
Krishna presented so gracefully on foreign lands unlike in India where some cheap people have tried to tarnish Krishna’s image by associating so many negativities. Thanks to ISKCON and amazing devotees for this.
