This 1996 Plymouth Voyager is in the PG8 green. A bit rusty, had prior body work done, but not too bad. Its got essentially new tires on the aluminum wheels... although the sizing on the front was quite odd. Interior in decent shape. This is the lowest mile van I have ever seen with the window sticker showing 000000 miles! ha-ha.
Its had plenty of maintenance done, and a few recalls as well. My guess here is around early 1999 the transmission failed and was replaced with a 99-2000 unit. This is evidenced by the newer range sensor plug spliced in and the new style shift solenoid. At the same time, they updated the transmission computer. They also replaced the PCM and re-flashed it. That is my guess anyway!
    Thanks for watching! :)

My late father liked the Voyager, Caravan & Town & Country from 1996 to 1999. He wore 3 of them out accumulating over 200,000 miles on each of them. The ride, gas mileage & repairs as needed were easy to do he would say. He always said these were the best vans on the roads. He to was all about getting upgraded rims, trim, mats as well as optional gadgets off those in the salvage yards to put on his. Your videos remind me how he enjoyed Chrysler's mini vans of that era as you do!

Man they made a lot of these 3rd gens in this green color. Most of the ones I see around are this color. My friends dad's 96 or 97 Grand Caravan is also this color. You see more in this color than you do white ones....crazy. Green WAS pretty popular in the 90s. Green tile and Green carpet were popular for a time in the 90s 😂

not sure if I missed it or not but whats a set of wheels go for down there? I need to find another set for summer for my van.. I kinda wore out the winter tires while putting on 30k last year.. "why are my winter tires junk this winter?" just drive them all summer lol

$25 a tire. Extra $20 returnable core charge on aluminum rims. With the $100 wheelbarrow sale no core charge to bother with this time haha

that's not too bad actually. I want tire and rims. Guess I will have to hit up the "local" aka hour away or so scrap yard.

@thestuffz yeah about the best price around. They have a rack of dismounted tires near the front... but that's always picked over. I just shop around the yard to find the nice tire/wheel sets for the same price. The wheels I've got on my 97' are from the yard too. Didn't even need to get them balanced as they appeared recently mounted and balanced already haha

I grew up in a 97 dodge grand caravan with silver fern on speckled fabric that used to trip me out
