    ANOTHER LOW MILEAGE ALERT!! Looks like this 1999 Dodge Caravan Sport only has around 70k miles.
    This van is definitely showing its Wisconsin roots despite its low miles. Those brakes are shot! Weird range of options in this sport van. It appears to be wired for a lot of options including power seat. But they opted for no overhead console and single zone climate control.
    It DOES have the rear sway bar!! Although the axle is in rough shape.
    Thanks for watching! :)

    I had a 94 Grand Caravan ES with a 3.8 l. It was so fast you wouldn’t believe. The 2 nd generation caravan are my favorite. I didn’t hear the story on your tooth.

      Oooooh a Caravan with the first year 3.8! Was that stock or swapped in? I love my 2nd gen too. I don't think I ever told the story but I got it knocked out as a kid. It was put back in but the tooth died. Finally can afford to get it replaced with an implant lol

    The CD players sure were few to find especially in the caravans. T& C's mostly. Most only had the cassette player am/fm set up. Good find for you.

      Hopefully it works! Admittedly I haven't put it in yet...

      @@MNMoparMinivan , It probably will. A good sign was you didnt see any old cds strewn throughout it. The van overall wasnt worn or rotted out. Makes you wonder why was it junked.

      I'd like to get a hold of one of the early CD only players that came in some of the 2nd gens.

    With all of the rust it seems like it's got 160 something miles but it's hard to tell with how much these vans love to rust lol

      Haha I believe 70k with the lack of wear. Probably just never washed the salt off

    Those caravan sport models are kinda rare, I do not know what makes them sport though? They have the same engine and transmission right?

    • @MNMoparMinivan
      @MNMoparMinivan  Před 3 dny +1

      Rear sway bar for sure. But some of them get spoilers and 16 inch wheels too, and obviously the "Sport" decals.

      @@MNMoparMinivan Ah makes sense, it is like my older nissan with the SE trim, just some suspension stuff, alloy wheels and spoiler but still same engine and transmission.

    Does the bench seats are compatible between 2nd gen and 3rd gen? I mean, can I mount a 3rd gen bench on my 2nd gen attach points ?

    • @MNMoparMinivan
      @MNMoparMinivan  Před 3 dny +3

      I would have to measure but I'm not sure actually. I know 1st and 2nd gen are compatible.

    • @MNMoparMinivan
      @MNMoparMinivan  Před 3 dny +1

      Actually I know they are not. 1st - 2nd gen are compatible. And 3rd - 4th gen are interchangeable. They made a change in 96 and added the rolling wheels to the bottoms to make removal easier. With the wheels I don't think they will sit right in the tracks. You may still be able to put 3rd gen buckets in a 2nd gen though....

      @selenelacaze9883 Před 3 dny +1

      @@MNMoparMinivan Ho yeah for the buckets : O . I searched on the web, and I saw this 3rd and 4 th gen compatibility . So yup I guess they are not compatible with the first 2 gens.

    • @MNMoparMinivan
      @MNMoparMinivan  Před 3 dny +1

      @selenelacaze9883 there's only one solution to this problem. We need you to weld a third gen floor into your second gen and get those seats installed! Should be quick and easy.... (:
