I just changed the front distribution panel under the passenger seat of my E39. It was full of water and it screwed up so much of my car. But I changed it myself and got my car back running with some other functions that were also messed up. Now my doors don’t lock or unlock just like yours but I haven’t checked the rear fuses yet. Hi Sidhu I had se same symptoms on my e38. The car was asleep for 9 jears now in my garage and I thought it was a dead gm3 but it was the 7.5 Amp fuse in the trunk as you showed in your video. Thank you for that it was very helpful in my case
yes you do need to code it however they will power up but you might lose features i lost my headlight motors and brake light come on with the parking lights,
I have same problem but my car is 1996 I changed my gm moduel but my wind wipers are working i cant control windows from the driver area and my trunk soft close but my interior lights arnt working my central locking button is working but my key wont open and close the car and i did put a fuse there was no fuse in my 55 area that u mentioned but its still not working nothing is happening when i open my driver seat door with key in all the doors stays closed i have to press the central locking button to open them what should i do
Make sure the GM3 module that you got is the same High from the same type of car like you can’t use the one from E39 because that will have less feathers. As long as you use it from the E38. Make sure to also check your battery. If all this was working before then you take out the fuse #55 and just try with a GM module

Thx bro stupid fuse cost me 200 but it was my mistake I moved the fuse that wasn’t supposed to be touched.
