This goes hand and hand with how social media gives average women an ego. They get so many DMs and see so many attractive men on social media, that it gasses them up. Suddenly, every woman wants the top 10% of men without being the top 10% of women. This has been brought up a lot, and is a huge problem.

Society nowadays makes you compare yourself to people that are “better” and you try to become like them but when in reality it’s not better it’s just different from your life. This was still the typical funny and informative Strawberry Park video, but it actually has me thinking about the damage social media is doing to the young generation. So much content is being absorbed into your brain today, that it’s actually overstimulating our perception of the real world. We’re losing our attention span from mindlessly scrolling through TikTok, IG, etc. and creating these fantasies that we see on social media is all there is out there. Social media can be used for a lot of benefits but currently it’s very detrimental for most people.

Living in Los Angeles is like living in a virtual Instagram page. When I travel I am reminded of how many pretty faced people migrate to LA to try their luck. Here is the flip , now that I am older . When I travel, I absolutely appreciate the cute girl next door types with the sweet, content personalities waaay more. No rat race mentality, less fronting, a tad more genuine.
Working in entertainment I had no idea how " Hollywood" my taste & perspective had become personally. You can't see it, when you're in it. Social media is an absolute collage of delusions if you do not step back & look at it for what it has become, its like Hollywood. Everyone is constantly fronting & selling & you can lose some of yourself if you ingest to much of it.

I've never had social media so I can't speak for others, but honestly I don't think anything is better than meeting a beautiful man or woman in real life.. It blows my mind how there's so many attractive girls in my area and I wouldn't feel the same way scrolling through random people's pictures
instagram is full of baddies, so much it's overwhelming. what's crazy is the development of smartphones which had everyone able to access the internet and causing people to act some sort of way. social media is just a tool, people got to remember that. many women use social media to post porn, soft core porn any lewds. it's frustrating because often it times these pics are just illusions. social media should've been used in a fruitful way, social, business, life saving knowledge, like there's a lot of potential in the internet. but the internet has been corrupted. humans typically ruin good things.
It is used in that manner. Your blaming the world for your own actions. The algorithm feeds you what you want, watch, or attracted to. If you watched or looked up videos on business, finance, health, you’d get that. But instead you search up half naked girls. Videos like this just give people victim mentalities and reasons to blame the world for their own issues

I think that the influence of "Instagram baddies" is generally negative on men, messing with their perspective of women, and them lowering their morals to the point basically worshipping these girls, but one thing I do have to say is that it does inspire women to be more fit.

if anything it makes woman more insecure and forcing them to look like what everyone thinks an average woman should look like. they’re insecurities are pushing them to be more ‘fit’ and chase a lifestyle and look that looks good but isn’t realistic. if anything more women are probably insecure than they’ve ever been now not unless they meet the beauty standard. the competition between woman is also very viscous now.

I used to have that addiction on these kinda social apps and being a simp... And I knew it's too poisoning and tiresome... So what I did... I Uninstalled Tiktok... And I post memes and text my friends and go out, have some fun, play video.. And I don't care how many followers I have as a guy.... And it is way much better for to talk to a girl I like face to face than in social media, it really builts my confidence
I have had the experience where I have a gf and get on social media and go "damn she's prettier than my girl." But most people have more than likely had that. Personally, my view on the world hasn't changed because I see pretty women on social media. At first I definitely would go "damn where are these fine women I see on here in my area." Then when I just took the time to actually talk to people and meet new people, I have met some of these women on campus and even in stores. Just cause you see them a lot on social doesn't necessarily mean your view on how women generally look will be misconstrued.

I feel like the only thing social media is good for is making money, so if you ain't doing that and you know that there isn't any really any good reason for you to have it then delete it. I mainly use social media for my art accounts. I’m trying to push my Art out there and grow a platform for myself. I want be a successful artist so idk if I can necessarily delete social media since that’s the main way to put my art out. But I do agree 100% on seeing to many good looking people that it messes with the brain.
When making an art account on social media especially Instagram it will be harder especially when there's other things people are more interesting such as twerking videos and stuff like that.

Yea I just deleted Tiktok last week after having it for 2 months. I only use Instagram and Snap to talk with friends in our group chat.
But being on those apps are TOXIC. Every Instagram meme page I was following started posted IG models that took pictures of their ass. I literally had to delete over 100 pages.

Ive always noticed how LLS has always been able to describe and evaluate very niche situations.
This is a problem which can and already has affected lot of people.All i see on my fyp or ig are models,women with aesthetic poses,etc.I personally don't see anything wrong with that but the influence it has on a lot of people needs to be addressed.We live in a society where a majority of people are exposed to a lot of stuff at a young age.With the evolution of technology it's not a surprise to me.A perfect example could be discord.I recently just found out that the way girls talk on discord(not every) has a "baddie" personality or is slowly trying to make a whole new personality.Just try to be you and focus on self improvement❤️.It's better to be yourself than make up a character just to try and fit in.Value the right people in your life who love and care for you and stay by your side during tough times.I really believe in humanity and hopefully it will get better soon.Have a fun one y'all❤️

As a girl who’s a good 3-4 in 8th grade. I don’t know if I’m actually that. There are a few crazy attractive girls at my school, but they wear makeup, and I don’t. I’ve been told that I’m hideous so much, and seeing all these pretty girls online have just made me self conscious and confused. People either say I’m pretty, or I’m terribly ugly.

I completely agree with this. I followed so many instagram baddies until the point I realized that it added no value to my life seeing that many beautiful women when I go on instagram. Worse it was skewing my perception of what beautiful is to extremely high standards. I decided to do take the mature approach and unfollow them all.

I’m only 23 but I already uninstalled all social media. I only use CZcams through safari because it’s not as addictive as the app. All of these apps have an algorithm designed to hook you onto it. Social media has shattered people’s egos and the attractive people are to blame for seeking out validation and attention.

I used to drive with Lyft. As a driver u can see the girls picture before pick up. I seen a lot of baddies but when they got in the car they didn't look anything like their picture. These filters really do hide their flaws and make us think women like that exist everywhere when in reality it's very few.

To all the young dudes out there. It's easy to grasp their beauty. Here it goes: IT"S NOT REAL! When you see them comfortable or without makeup , you'll understand exactly what I'm talking about. Most of their "Beauty" has to be applied in the morning and it messes with their skin as they age. Don't put them on a pedestal. That would be the equivalent of calling someone smart who cheats on their tests.
