I think that the second technique of “following till they do something interesting” could very well be interesting but probably not on a nice way.
To me it sounds like a quick way to 'get filled in'!
Newton-Ellis in Liverpool did a lovely job on my IIIf. And point-blank refused to do stuff I suggested they do but which were fine. "You'd be wasting your money." Grand episode and some cracking pics.
Ooooo I will look into Newton-Ellis. Funny isn't it - my 1938 iiib just keeps trucking on - bright rangefinder patch, less finnicky to load ... and a year older than me mum!
@@ashsphotolounge Forgot to say, the reason I sent it off was a cracked blind and a really poor rangefinder mirror. New blind, service and a re-silvered mirror at a good price and quick turn-around.
