- Which Marvel character is as worthy as Thor to weild Thor's Hammer?! We took the Real Mjolnir to Comikaze to find out, and got an autograph from Stan Lee!

Nah. He was a larger guy. His center of gravity is wider in comparison to others. Him standing far out from the hammer is just the result of that and the fact that he was lifting the hammer from the side closest to the edge of the pothole-cover. Furthermore it’s the opposite actually… if he stood on the pothole-cover he could have lifted it using less force. The movement of the pot hole transfered pulling energy away from the contact point of the magnet and the steel.
The smart thing to do when dealing with magnets… just tilt to one side. When lifting the hammer tilt it left or right and it will take significantly less force for to it tear the magnet away from the steel.
