I suggest that in 0:54, these platforms shouldn't slide, because even the ice is different, and could do it only at the white/blue ice. Besides that will be more tolerable pass through these avalanches. It's nice to see how the fans make things thousands times better than the great videogame companies.
Blizzard Wolfang's stage is one of the better ones so i'm pretty sure he didn't change too much, I do notice that the A.I of Wolfang is more aggressive therefore not a pushover anymore, and from what I got from the Mega Man X6 remake beta playthrough he added a lot of better level design changes including making all bosses (except Infinity Mijinion which is less bullshit) more aggressive and take less damage in order to make them less underwhelming, but this video doesn't do much justice in showing that, just watch the remake beta video
@@uribe_ramon Avalanches are much shorter, several floors were changed to be more manageable, access to the side area is easier, all avalanches are destructible. That's what i noticed myself.
there's no way you can get all items by just walking into them and killing the now worthless due to lacking respawns and high health nightmare enemy, except the useless ex-tank. and making the boulders absolutely non-threatening? why? at this point the game pretty much turns into one giant slash beast, items are given to the player for free and everything can be exploited by spamming buster. i appreciate the idea of X6 hacks, but this is just X6 but worse and dumbed down.
What do you mean? This is actually an improvement over the original game. As much as I love X6, it definitely needed some touching up and I'm glad he fixed the level design, and enemy placement. Now it's more easier and fair.
@@marcusmayo i don't see how this is an improvement in any way. "easier and fair" in this is slash beast levels of bad level design, where there's no threat and the level is dumbed down to absolute.
@@marx4538 Slash Beast bad level design? Slash Beast's stage was great, my dude. X4 imo is arguably the best X title and that's due to the fact of how well designed it is. There's no nightmare effect, the difficulty is well balanced( unlike X6 sadly), no infuriating enemy placement. X6 needed improvements, as you can tell the devs probably didn't intend to make the game like that.
@@marcusmayo nightmare effects make the game replayable. X4 is one of the worst X games and Slash Beast is literally a straight line of enemies that require no weapons or tactics to kill, literally hold charge buster/spam zero slash and even if you go into the stage first, you won't have to do anything aside from that, especialy since the second half is made even easier with ride armor. the only "challenge" aside from the boss is the midboss, which is extremely simple and barely has any variation in it's two attacks. your opinion is your opinion, but i personally think X4 is not how levels should be designed - if there's the best one out of the first 4, it's X2 with it's amazing weapons and way more challenging and clever level design.
@@marx4538 Respect your opinion but the nightmare effects do not make this game more replayable. The nightmare effect is what caused people to rage and hate the game as it makes it unnecessarily hard. And this is coming from a person who loves X6. If we can take the nightmare effect to improve it or better yet get rid of it, than more people would like X6.
Wow! A new preview, what a thrill!
Great job! I love X6, but I'm glad someone is fixing the flaws the original game had. Keep it up! :)
Love it. Any plans on making Shadow Armor use weapons? Maybe just uncharged weapons?
Well, I don't think it will be easy to implement technically.

This looks the same as X6.
