Sonar doesn’t play around! Mapex and Sonar are the most underrated drums no doubt.
Right around 4 minutes 80/20 starts showing his true colors that he has a unique place in the world of drums for sure. A bit of Jack Dejohnette I’m hearing with modern colors. I’m also realizing that Nate is becoming one of the best teachers out there that can play as well! ❤ Drums and the whole community.

This was cool to watch... I enjoy your teaching style, the mix of riffing or things kinda coming to your mind, but also what comes from the audience, and then building from there. Very cool! I would love to develop some of these ideas and be able to just sit and improv like I see you do a lot in your vids.

Perfection is obtainable in this Earth plane density. I just heard it perfectly. The 80/20 Drummer donated that intro to my being thus showing me how God loves us beyond measures and within all time signatures. Even without time. And I am thankful for that. Then, I noticed the drums matched the color of Nate’s shirt… am I still colorblind? I have 80/20 vision.

Leaning drums on first kit, we had a midi keyboard that played beats, it really helped with timing not knowing how to play songs whatsoever back in the 90s. Also having a real guitar player was very helpful!
