  • January 23, 1990 - An interesting moment in time here. Selected sixth overall by the Chicago Bulls in 1989, Stacey King played four and half seasons alongside Michael Jordan and company, winning three NBA championships along the way. Shortly after the conclusion of an eight year NBA career, King returned to Chicago as a studio analyst before sliding in as WGN's primary color commentator in 2008, replacing, you guessed it, Johnny "Red" Kerr.
It is unclear as to whether King was already gunning for Kerr's job at the time of this interview.
