I hate mopping floors and dealing with dirty water🌼 So, after research I decided to try the Crosswave for my linoleum and hardwood floors. I love it! Very easy to use. The suction is amazing! Easy to take apart and clean up after each use. I didn't see that it was great on my area rugs, but I didn't purchase it for those anyway. Would highly recommend.

Mine just came today and I agree with the post further down about not being able to clean under furniture. Was trying to clean under our bed but the vacum does not stay flat on the ground, it raises up. You can’t get into tight spaces either and there’s no attachments. Also it was be nice if it was as maneuverable as my dyson ball.

Very easy to assemble Recommened, and only attachments I've used so far work well, and are easy to use. Doing a good job on the new carpet in my bedrooms and stairs. Works well on the hardwood on my main floor too. Reasonable weight and cord length. I already knew from an earlier review that it wouldn't fit under furniture, but I can use my Eufy for that, so no problem - the high traffic areas that need a stronger suction was really what I bought this for. If it continues as it's started, it will be a good buy and well worth the money. I have had two Shark Rocket stick vacs in the past that are super easy to use, but the motors just don't last well, even with scrupulous cleaning of the filters. I'm hoping for better with this Bissell.

At 3:22, "Fill it with the hottest water you can..." Say what???? No people, do NOT fill it with the hottest water you can, because it will warp the plastic dirty water tank. What she said would suggest filling the tank with boiling water which is NOT recommended by Bissell. Actually, according to MY Bissell Crosswave's instruction manuel, hot water is not recommended - just warm water. Is it possible that our hosts are trying to set us up to damage parts that consumers will need to spend money to replace?? Hmmm... Anyway, I did my own review of the pros and cons of the Crosswave. I learned that the hard way with my Bissell pet pro heat carpet cleaner 😅 warped my water tank, and damaged my cleaner all together 🤦🏻♀️ Had to pay $300 for a new one because with a dog, a cat and 2 kids I can’t live without it!

Which model is it?
Since it’s “pet” they should show more for Pet. If you get the big dog , in my case a German sherpherd dog (shirt hair) …his hair is rough,thick and big. It gonna clog that suction hole (connection between the brush head and the dirty tank?
We have a english mastiff. I've never had a dog shed as much as this guy does. This Bissell has saved my sanity. Great product if you have a HUGE dog that sheds constantly.

Well I hate it - it has good suction for the cyclonic stuff on hard floors for pet fur but you can't get even close to getting under any furniture - then there is the steam aspect - yep that works but leaves a lot of water after you have finished just in the pad and the attached thing and inside where you can actually see the condensation water the next day and take the head off and it drips. Very safe I am sure. And how it works on rugs I have no idea - I have had to revert to sitting in the floor with my rubber glove and brushing the fur up like that - and it is sooooo heavy ..
It doesn't work always leave marks of water on the tile. 👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎 and even worse in the wood floor.
I need one for cats who like to pee on higher surfaces than the floor.
Use a microfiber cloth and vinegar for hard surfaces, for upholstery get the Bissel spot machine it works really well
