Boosted V6’s can top out at 700-1000 HP depending on the engine & weight. Definitely enough power to run tbh.

If you're ever looking for a lame 4 cylinder at least the GTI looks great inside and subjectively outside (could go with Jetta GLI if you prefer the looks) think they're a little over 3100lbs and 93 pump, is28 turbo or whatever the golf r turbo is upgrade to it and the tunes pushes it to almost 400wheel I believe in that light of a car. Would have to check Integrated engineerings whp dynongains

I drive a V6 1999 Mustang that had 116k miles that I bought for dirt cheap and fixed up. I call it my sport-beater. Its my daily commuter that is just fun to cruise in. In ford's case here it's literally a modified truck block from the '80s with a much more modern intake plenum instead of a carb. Loads of fun. quick acceleration. Great on gas too. Why anyone in a naturally aspirated V6 would even think to run from police is beyond asinine. I'm not a "car guy" by any means but the fact that people think they can buy a Diet V8 and run from cops shows that people have not even the slightest clue when it comes to basic car knowledge and their capabilities.

I have a 5.7 and can attest that this is true. Now if your 5.7 is modded then the rules may change a bit but stock, this is how it is. Police cruisers rock the same engine as you but with AWD and better brakes. You can keep up with them but you can’t lose them, so if you can’t get off the road without them seeing then you’re getting caught.

She made the funny statement that it would out run my 6.2L HEMI SRT V8 Charger, now a guy will know they are in a different level but she didn't. The race was pitiful. She then believed it was her and not the car, so her brother drove, it was an even more pitiful race. Those V6 are not running with a true V8
