I'm 62 and I now have realised that thought my life I have probably stepped over or just walked straight past some of the most beautiful gemstones and rocks in the world. Wow look what we probably all missed.
When I was a little girl, my father would always scold me whenever I have my head up while walking. He used to say that, " One can find more things on the ground than up in the air." Makes sense to me know. :-) Cheers, Liz
I have been obsessed with stones and rocks since I was a little girl, and as I am watching this video I'm fidgeting and visually stimulated by everything I'm looking at! I would love to have the opportunity to physically visit a place like this....I would probably lose my damn mind!! â„
I really enjoyed listening to you! Not only are you very knowledgeable, you make this subject interesting and fun! I have a boring life at the moment and it is really great to share your adventures. Thank you for doing this!
This is relationship goal for me. Two people having the same hobby outdoor, looking for beautiful precious things together. So much fun! I'm jealous but happy for you, too...you sounded very excited every time!
I hope you guys always save and happy on the journeys (because I heard it could get crazy in Australia). Need to always bring antivenoms or something... â€â€â€ Love watching your videos!
I love watching your videos over and over Kim. Your enthusiasm and excitement for rocks and minerals reminds me of myself. Please keep sharing your journeys with us!
I always found sparkling rocks back when I was small and spent a lot of time with my grandparents. Always wondered why they sparkled, glad to finally know!
We have a lot of stones here in the Philippines in fact i have a big rock mixed with chalcedony and petrified wood i found it near the brook
Hello Ms.Liz just wanted to say đ thank you đ for teaching me what to look for when I go out looking for đ gems god bless you.

you made my heart jump, fellow rock lovers and gems gold you know. wonderful watching
You are so lucky to have access to such a huge variety and abundance of gems!
Instructive videos which summarize the reading of several books in the subject. Thank you very much, madam, for all your efforts and willingness to share your knowledge.
Oh my word, I would love to come hunting for rocks with you two. I've been fascinated with rocks all my life although I don't know a great deal about them, I would love to learn more about them from someone who clearly has such a passion for them like you have. This is the first time I have seen a video by you and I am going to watch your other ones. Many thanks from the UK and myself. Brightest Blessings x
Thanks for watching and commenting. I find that going outdoors is the best way for me to learn. Hope you get the chance to explore. Wishing you all the very best. Cheers, Liz
I absolutely LOVE your channel! I live in Manhattan, where we have many excellent things, but pretty much no interesting rocks! There's so many people here that everything on the ground has been picked over a thousand times. It's wonderful to watch your videos and get a window into a world where there are so many wonderful and fascinating stones still waiting to be found!
Thanks for watching and commenting Stella. Not much gemstones either where we live, so we travel to these places away from home to feed the prospecting bug. All the best, Liz
We went on a campingtrip to the Czech republic last year, near our campsite there was a river and from the moment I discovered it I went there every day to go gemhunting. I found lots of quarts and agate. They're not polished so they look like regular stones but if you sprinkle some water on them you can see the beauty, that's what I love about river gemstones.
We also discorvered a stonemine not far from our campsite and we found LOADS of jaspers. jaspers are one of the most beautiful gemstones in my opinion, I love the colors :)
I can watch these videos all the time thank you youâre the best
I never knew that these stones are precious! We have lots of this kinds in our river. Traditionally, we go there to do wash our clothes and it has many precious rocks and agates too, I have seen lots but I don't have the knowledge.
Now, I am learning and watching to gain knowledge about its differences. Thank you!
Great video Liz thank you for sharing these with us, these are amazing to see!
Thanks for watching and commenting Ohkapi and glad you enjoyed the video. Cheers, Liz

My fiance, his dad and I just moved to a very very rocky area in california, our front yard has a bunch of red dirt and quartz. I've only dug 3 times so far but Ive found many shinys and I think of you :)
Thank you for watching and taking the time to leave a lovely comment Nicole. You're very sweet. Hope you find many more shinys and keep smiling. All the very best, Liz
I love your information. Beautiful stones
AWESOME finds. My Mother started a rock garden many years ago. Everywhere her and my dad went somewhere, fishing, hunting, visiting relatives in other states, she would go rocking.
Her and my Dad's ashes are now in that rock garden. I have some pretty rocks I would like to tumble and add to it.
My tumbler recently broke and I've hinted to my 3 daughters that I would like a double one. My birthday is this July and I will be 68.
Thanks for sharing! I really enjoy these videos.
I'm glad you enjoyed the video and thanks for watching. Cheers, Liz

Ah! This was awesome! As an aspiring geologist this was so educational. Sadly I wish I could get out in the field and have a dig around but I live an hour from Melbourne!
Thanks for watching. With a bit of research, you may be pleasantly surprised as to the variety of gemstones not too far from Melbourne. Cheers, Liz

Great video: lots of rocks and info in a short amount of time (though I could've done without the fishes). Thumbs up
I reckon the fishes were the best part. :-) Thanks for watching. Cheers, Liz
Thank you
Liz Thank you! really for giving such wonderful video every time i search for serious gemstone hunting your name appears i think you are one of the rarest you tubers who are serious about this, i love watching you collecting rocks teaching us valuable information specifically when you find sapphires and shout it happily :D. can I ask what is the best gemstone or rock that you have found so far that made you happy the most??
All of them makes me so happy when I find them but the colours of the Opals stays in my heart. Thanks for watching. Cheers Liz
Loved this video! â€ïžâ€ïžâ€ïž
Glad you liked it! Thanks for watching.đ„°
When I was younger I was interested with different stones as well. I think Iâm going to go back to the old hobby.
I have never heard anyone get as excited about rocks as myself and my kids. I love rocks in their natural state . I love trying to identify them as I find them . Each rock has energy . I can't wait to see the finished product.
Hi Dania and kids, Looking for and at rocks and being out there in nature is food for my soul and mind. You know what I mean....:-) Thanks for watching and Happy Hunting. Cheers, LIz
Liz Kreate Thank you ,I can't wait ! At least now I know that I have a good eye . The only problem will be choosing . I have never met a rock I didn't want to bring home, lol :D
This is so interesting! I guess it's an activity best done at first daylight in the morning, so it won't be that hot. Rocks hold onto heat, making it even hotter I guess. Will keep watching your videos and learn! :)
Hi Michaela, Nothing better than fresh gemstones from the river for breakfast. :-) Unfortunately, like most of the places we go prospecting, this place is far from where we live. By the time we get there, it was already lunchtime. Thanks for watching and commenting. Cheers, Liz
I really love your video, it inspired me to start hunting for rocks again, since i did it as a child, but stopped because i didn't actually know anything about what interesting stones there were here and what could be found. I actually live in the kangaroo valley area, and i've been dying to know what spots you were searching around at in the video!! I'd love have to have a look myself, or at least know what to look for in order to find a good spot in the area to find interesting stones. Thank you very much for the amazing video!!
Thanks for watching Pine Cone and glad to know you're enjoying my videos. The area in the video is the river at upper Kangaroo Valley, upstream from Hampden Bridge. Explore areas where you can see concentration of rocks and it will have some form of semi precious gems among them. Good luck and Happy Hunting. All the best, Liz
Thank you!! I really appreciate it :)
Me too I collect rock as a kid in the Virginia mountains
Hi Ms Liz, i just watched your videos last week and i got so interested on rocks in its hidden beauty and arts inside. So i went on a trek yesterday and pick up some stones similar on your videos. But still i find it so hard to identify what are they. Is there some site i can send pictures of stones i got and help me identify what are they?
thank you so much!
good
Lots of nice finds there. Really nice Wulfenite. Love watching you and Wally hunt rocks and such. Tell Pedro hi! :-)
It sure is a nice place for gem hunting Mike. We barely scratch the surface from this area. Pedro says, "Hi Mike." Thanks for the comment. Cheers, Liz
I love rockhounding too
Great! Thanks!
Hey Liz let me know when your on the far south coast or snowy mountains area I would love to learn from you i have watched all your gem videos and just love them all đ
That is so cool.
I just found your videos, Salamat Po! I am able to learn so much about fossicking watching them. If you ever need and extra Beast of Burden...
Thanks for watching and glad to know you're enjoying my videos. All the best, Liz
I can only imagine the amount of rocks that you picked and kept through the years ! Rocks in the garden, rocks in the living room, rocks in the bedroom, rocks in the basement...
Josiane David my thoughts exactly.
Josiane David rocks in your head? Lol. Joke only!
Must be alot of energy in her house!!
Rocks buy the toilet... Rocks in her car... Rocks in her hair... rocks are everywhere!!!
Sounds very much like a problem that I have with "rocks".... ;) Great video, Thank you.
Glad I'm not the only one who goes rock, gem, arrowhead, fossil hunting although I've very picky about the ones I keep.
Hey Liz... What do use to polish the coprolite? (Charmin). Absolutely LOVE your videos on fossicking for gemstones & AU.
Thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching!
I'll come and visit Pedro and go rock finding!
Beautiful
Thank you.
