So Gloria: - gets mad at Luke for dating Manny's ex when she stole Jay away from her sister. - calls Claire loose when she has also had multiple partners - shames Jay for not being tolerant and then tries to baptize Haley's twins behind her back - shames Luke to Phil for being disloyal when she's interviewing at a rival agency. yeah safe to say shes the shows biggest hypocrite.
She technically didn't steal Jay away from her sister. Gloria didn't know Jay sent it to her sister because it arrived when her sister went to the toilet- so Gloria thought it was for her. Jay didn't correct the assumption. Also her sister wasn't dating Jay and had never dated Jay. Gloria also only slept with 8 men- 2 she was/is married to. Claire was a wild child
I mean Gloria is just sticking up for her kid. And as the other commenter said Jay and Gloria's sister never dated. Jay didn't mind to be dating Gloria instead. Whilst I don't agree with her slutshaming Claire, Claire does it all of the time in the show and she is the one with the most history. Gloria says in the earlier seasons she slept with 8 men (including Jay and Javier who she was married to). Going by Claire's implied promiscuity, she slept with the same amount of guys in highschool. And also as Jay said the big thing is Luke went for Manny's ex, which considering they are close friends and family members is a reason to be upset at him. But Luke like Claire always treated people like doormats and that's the whole basis of his friendship with Manny.

There is everything wrong with sleeping around, even if you're single. It destroys your (and your partner's) ability to pair-bond and be satisfied with a long-term partner. Check out the statistics on marriages that last VS get divorced, with each # of previous sexual partners (for either gender) the odds of the marriage lasting drops dramatically. Sleeping around also spreads STDs, even if you are extremely careful there are the ones that don't display symptoms for 6+ months even though they're contagious the whole time.
To be honest I LOST ALL THE RESPECT FOR GLORIA after this episode and FYI Claire was right, Haley and Luke might be dumb but they were good ppl and manny was manipulative always dissing on luke, and did an absolutely disgusting thing about tricking haley into kissing him! And whenever i watch Gloria (in the re runs) i am just hate her throughout!.
