@@ponentwind Not the greatest trumpet solo by a long shot..wonder why you think so...not the best song for it either anyway, Albert Collins blues etc..more a guitar thing..
@@SkonrokkenTV I'm a huge Albert Collins fan...love his playing style, but his band (and blues bands in general) are much more than just a guitar thing. Most of them (especially back in the 70's - 90's) all had full bands with keyboards and horns.
Albert lost that test, cause Buddy Guy is still doin time keepin the blues alive! But i gots ta hear the master of the telecaster thumb those strings and make em sing! Albert is definitely top shelf!
When I listen to AC I think he is the best ever, when I listen to Michael Burks I think MB is the best ever, when I listen to SRV I think he is the best ever, when I listen to Peter Green I think PG is the best ever. Saw a video of Gary Cain a short while ago and thought the same thing. I am forgetting a lot of musicians here and I just don't know
How do I miss the sound of that time. And Albert Collins was... indefinable. Thanks of course to the whole orchestra to have been there. Just a mention for the rhythm guitar haircut. ^^.
Had the chance to see him live three times and he always was, and will always be, at the top of the list for flat out funky blues that couldn’t help but move your soul - thanks for leaving us all this music to carry us through our lives - simply the best! 👍🏻😎
Remember to be in a relationship like this subscribed by this song. It was a hard time when sitting alone i wonder where is my woman. I knew it's almost over but something inside me tells that it can't be like that. Unfortunatelly or fortunatelly ( it dependes ) all was done and it has been finished. I started new life. But I will always remember AC who helped by his great blues music to go forward and left behind all bad things. Thank you Alber.
Brilliant stuff. The band are all killer too! Anyone know the names of his band? The trumpet player and bass player are especially great. And the guy with the blue strat - what a fantastic mullet! Amazing!
used to go see Albert in small bars playing this right in your face volume turned all the way up at full blast. words cannot describe what it felt and sounded like you had to be there and if you were you know exactly what im talking about.
That trumpet solo has changed my life
The master liked good company

Most of them stood the test of time so far. All the good ones anyway. Literally hundreds. At least.
Have you ever heard of Eric Clapton?

Someone's gotta tell me about Albert's awesome guitarist! Dude has the most mullety mullet that ever mulleted the earth!
Albert is absolutely killer... tone...feel..he's got it all man.
omg did he broke his string and still played the greatest solo ever
I can't get over the fact that he tuned his guitar to "F minor" . . . A true /b/rother
He had a killer band. His attack on his tele is unreal. The best
Albert makes his guitar yell and hollar out to your soul.
WOW! Even when the string snaps @7:55 he still plays as though nothing happened. Superb!!
It actually GOT BETTER after the string broke LOL....Incredible

There's nobody else quite like The Iceman! Always at the top of his game, always funky as hell. A truly singular talent!

Yeah Albert was one 1⃣ of the old school masters of old school blues 😊😅😮😢😂❤😂😊❤😊❤
Was a young roadie and had to carry the Wurlitzer organ off the truck, it was so worth it, it's an amazing work of art !!!
Albert is the evolution of the early bluesman a whole unique sound and set up tuning whatever no predecessor no followers complete artistic channelers
