Those temporary crossarms are genius, gives clearance to pull out old pole. Lineman work in the US is so advance,.I hope I make it to one of those companies one day😊😊😊😊😊

This is really good. From a safety standpoint, most of these guys should wear hearing protection. Aside from that, great job.

I don't get it. Being from the union up north. How does the company let the men work in leathers when the existing phases are on hot arms on a steel pole with a fiber arm, not to mention the humidity so electricity can track and get away with it? Seems like a bad practice but correct me if I'm wrong. I would guess a 13.2kv circuit?

It looks to me the separation between the line rollers and phases is too low. Otherwise pretty good job.

how much would it cost to do this in a 3-phase relocation? can it be done by independent contractors or only the major power provider-owner of the pole? A distribution pole was placed in the middle of the property long ago, and I want the lines moved to the next pole at the easement or edge of the property?

Again, these guys need to thank that company every day they go to work, they need to THANK that company that they got the chance to do this work. Guys DREAM of doing this work and ALOT of them say "I'll work for a Utility, but I won't work for a contractor doing power". Thank the company guys, thank them for giving you the opportunity to make easy money, 40 bucks an hour and mad overtime. Seriously. I applied at River City Construction, CW Wright, I spoke with Lee Electric. I spoke with Pike, and Dominion Power let me know they will NOT hire anyone who's been in law trouble. Dominion Power is a shitball company who won't keep a workforce, they keep a few trucks for every area. They pass the buck to the contractor when they need work done. Pathetic, you hire contractors when you need them and you don't give one fuck about CW Wright's men.
