MP3 files will play on an iPhone, you just need to add the file to the library, then sync the music to ur iPhone, easy!

...or you can just pop the CD into the drive and let iTunes automatically recognize it and download it to iTunes and then plug in your phone. :-) Still a good video.

If you want every song on the CD, how is an "album" created so you have an album on your iphone? I want to be able to sort through and play albums, not have to search through 1000 songs. thanks.

Albums are automatically created regardless of the number of imported songs. If you want every song in the album, just make sure all of the tracks are selected when importing music. In the iTunes library as well as in the Music App library on the phone there is an option to sort music by album.

I search the terms "cd to iphone without itunes." This video shows you can do this with Windows Media Player so I'm going along with the video. Suddenly the guys says to open itunes. So which is it? with or without itunes???

Windows Media Player is used to import/rip music from CD to the computer, and iTunes is used to transfer music from the PC to the iPhone.

Does it take the music off the CD or just copy it?

Emily Carter It only copies the music from the CD.

Would this work with music that I had already downloaded from an android phone?

If the file format is supported there should be no problem.

Yes, you can, but media information - tracks, artists and album might show as "Unknown" in your library.

Is the file format MP3? Some other formats like .wma are not supported by the iPhone.
