I do run the metacarpus after trying it in multiple matchups, I love the fact that my killshot is 10 arcane rather than 9, most people dont see it coming. I also have tested it with Crown of Providence and the ability has come in useful a few times. But completely see the reason people like to use braveforge bracers and arcanite skullcap.
I think Emperor is probably the most fun deck to play right now. But then I think of Dash throwing 20 plus damage a turn and then all the fatigue Guardians as well and then I get sad.

Yes, you certainly can. One of the most interesting skill expressions in the deck is knowing when to grab C&C versus when to focus on arcane damage with relation to how much arcane barrier your opponent brings versus Crown of Providence!

If you use Crown of Providence, you dont even need to arsenal Emeritus. Judt arsenal a card, draw into Emeritus, block with Crown, sink the arsenal, then BAM, Emeritus time.

It sounds like the Forked Lighting Combo would be great regardless. What if you just also try to combo that way?
You need the space to play it and sadly most decks don't give it to you
Why not give and take? In my games I find that most the time my opponent take the 3 damage or gives me equipment, if played when they are at lower health (12 or lower pending their AB) they will usually block allowing me to fish out a lot of different options.
On setting up big turns it’s very easy to play a 1 cost and a 2 cost using 4 cards using flamescale.
You may also want to think about come to fight, to swing momentum a command and conquer for 9 can be nasty. Pitch 1 come to fight, pitch 1 flamescale for 2 resources, and then pitch your last one to bring out command and conquer

Give and Take was originally on the slot but I never played a match I needed it in. It's still in my "possibilities" list! I hadn't considered or tried Come to Fight!
That is fair! I think for me I kept it in because it does block for 3, still can be pitched and at worse is still a 1 for 3 go again, also a come to fight into a give and take also has more reward due to I’m almost always getting a tome back or another enlightened strike. I love that you’re putting emperor videos out! I’ll keep watching for ideas!
