As a foxes fan for 70 years ( born near to Filbert Street) I'm really pleased that Steve has got the job. He comes across as a genuine & likeable bloke. Everyone who has worked with him in the past speaks highly of him. Best wishes Steve and good luck.

Steve Cooper is actually a very astute, well humble but nice guy, very difficult to have success in top flight, Leicester deserve him because going back when Leicester won thing's it was akin to hitting 180 in darts with a really thick mask over your eyes, Steve Cooper is really good for the club, nice to have the team back

As a forest fan i wish him the best of luck. He never really found an identity of playing in the premier league it was needs must low block and counter. But make no mistake this is one of the best home grown young coaches on counter attacking play. Without steve cooper forest wouldnt be in the premier league and without steve cooper we wouldnt of survived our first season in the premier league. Its a tough job at leicester with the psr and potential punishments, but you got yourself a good appointment

Strange seeing Steve talking about another club, I only know him as the man who got us promoted and achieved greatness with Forest. Always a legend and welcome at Forest. He always comes across really well, astute, a galvaniser of people and an all round genuine guy. Hope he does well, except against us of course, but he's looking good and looking energised for it. Really miss having Steve Cooper at Forest. Should have given him years more. But so happy he is back, and just down the road. Hope he is very successful at Leicester. Would love to see Forest & Leciester comfortably avoid relegation
I hope Forest stay up too, we may be local rivals but I still remember I saw a fair few Forest shirts laid in tribute to Vichai outside the King Power after the helicopter crash.

Left Nottingham Forest a matter of months ago and looks 20 years younger. This Forest fan wishes the great man all the very best. I never wanted him sacked. Top manager, top man.

It's easy to assume Coops won't be up to the task given that forest sacked him, but I can assure you he will have more passion for your club and drive than any you've had in a very long time. Pains me to say it but he is more suited to Leicester than he was with us on the Trent, so I've no doubt he'll be successful and bring some more glory to the KP stadium. He'll get many a cheer when you come to the city ground next season. And rightly so. Great appointment

Cooper got some stick for his style of football but he did a good job in keeping Forest up. No doubt it'll be really hard for him to keep Leicester up but he's the ideal man to get promotion in 25/26

Hello mate, what kind of tactics we can expect from him? I feel like he’s a defensive minded coach that plays a back 5 whereas we have a squad that is more suited to a possession based football. So seems like a weird appointment…
@coopsycoop9913 I think the back 5 came from being scared to lose in the prem , previously he played possession based attacking football . I would also say you're in a very different position to what we were after so long away from the prem and having to replace 80% of our squad lol

And we are also struggling financially and now lost our best player Dewsbury hall as well. So i feel bad for Cooper as he’s already on pressure with the lack of funds for transfers and points deductions.

He looked like zombie in final days at Forest could tell he lost his way. It seems time off from football has rejuvenated him seems more hungry got his passion back! It’ll be interesting to see if tactically he’ll change his ways. Too negative in final 6 months while at City Ground so hope uses players he’s got effectively doesn’t worry about opponents players & tactics. Wish you look Coops
I've already lubed up. If we stay up, this will be a bigger miracle than we did the first time around. He may be a great manager but he has his hands tied by our poor financtial situation. I hope he can somehow keep us up
