    I've done this VF twice in the 1 week that I was in Chamonix. Yes, it is considered an easy via ferrata for families. Those wire bridges are common place for via ferratta so you might consider not doing them in the future if you complain so much about hating them.
    You already know in advance they will be part of the via ferrata as there is a route sign at the start of the via ferrata and that is why you see there is an exit for those who choose not to do the wire bridge.
    Also, your Simond helmet straps on your right side isn't adjusted appropriately. The front loop will easily go past your chin. You need to re-adjust those straps.

    Nice route! Anything upwards from La Flegere has magnificent views of the Aiguilles de Chamonix and the Mont Blanc range ... indeed a stunning scenery to hike or climb in. I'll be there in about two weeks ... can't wait😊 Great video! I also very much enjoyed hearing you say to yourself "my god, why am I doing this!"😂 I have said that to myself also so many times ... and I say it to myself every time I have to go down the Aiguille du Midi ridge.

      The view in that area is spectacular. Coming down I was thinking how grateful I am to be seeing it.
      The Aiguille du midi ridge looks amazing, it's definitely on the list. I bet it has some pretty big drops itself 😅 .Thanks for watching!

    I did this last summer, was surprised that online it gets labelled as very easy. As much as i was pretty concerned about that final rope bridge, it was actually the easiest part fot me. The most difficult and annoying was the area you initially point to somewhere around 6-7 minutes, where as you go sideways along the cliff face, the steps are a bit far apart from each other and the cable is tough to reach with your hand to move the clips across. Fair play for doing this in snow and cloudy weather!

      I know the section you're talking about, it was definitely a challenge.
      It felt equal parts daunting and exciting being the only one there which I loved.
      Thanks for watching!

      Yeah I agree it was my first via farrata and on my own, the overhanging bit was the scariest for me

      @benrussell8194 Great experience though now you know you can finish it! When I got to that final rope bridge, it was very windy and I almost didn't do it. Ended up being the easiest part of it all haha

      @@RLX5201 yeah the overhang bit was the worst for me !

      @TraintoSummit  Před 11 měsíci

      @@benrussell8194 There is a moment before you get to the bridge on the final ascent, where you take a very airy corner and the drop is huge. For me that was scary af 😅

      Beginning of May. Definitely gage it once you're there - the worst snow was on the top once you finish the route. Have fun 🔥
