Good story. I like stories where Earth still survived and thrived and the ship was not a lost relic of a dead civilization. Would have been nice to know how the crew died. I do not like stories where humanity was exterminated by some other race, Galictic Consul or blew ourselves up. I listen to these stories for enjoyment and I find no enjoyment in the destruction of humanity.
Seems as though there was not much crew as the ship even when active was seemingly scheduled for being mothballed IE retired. So a full crew would not have been necessary. What the author fails to delve into is why the ship became a derelict and that no one noticed. Yet when awoken was able to communicate with earth. Why was it not able to do that back when whatever happened to it? Plot holes aplenty.
@@dominickefrim3088 My other question is why was it brought to an IPF base instead back to Earth. Was earth part of the IPF? The story doesn't say. At least that I remember.
