- We meet the people who made BikePark Wales a reality and take you behind the scenes to see just what it takes to run the UK’s flagship bike park.
We catch up with the park’s directors to find out the real story: what does it take to launch your own bike park? It may have seemed obvious that the park was going to succeed, but we find out there was more than one hurdle between the initial idea and the park becoming the commercial success it is today…How did they manage it? Watch the video to discover more!

Happy local visitor of bikepark for around 7+ years. over a good 100+ visits. Great place for all skills and 100% worth travelling to if your in the UK! Coaching is amazing too, skilled instructors. Amazing build trails. 10/10!
It really is a fantastic place, never fail to have fun when I visit.
Was disappointed that the half day weekend sessions ended. That worked well for us with a long journey.
This place is awesome! Staff are all friendly and helpful 👍
Love BPW. Hopefully I will still be riding there in the next ten years.
Great ! Another reason for me to visit Wales .
Some of my best days riding are done at BPW. What a place!
Favourite use of a day off work.
This is my spiritual home xxxx
What's your favourite trail at BPW? 😎
That’s not an easy question 😂 only Three weeks until I go again, will tell you when I return 🤙🏻
I challenge anyone not to love sixtapod into willy waver... Sure, there's other awesome trails but these two are the tits at whatever speed you ride them. Stand at the end of willy waver and I guarantee you won't see anything other than smiles on people's faces!! 🙌🏻🙌🏻
The a470 towards dyfi 🔥
@thewarr10r1 It's fun and smooth, you can pick up some serious speed too!

Can you come over and test Hafjell bike park in Norway?🇳🇴
We would love to! It's been on our list of places to visit since the World Cup went there in 2012...
~ Will
I’m waiting🇳🇴😎
What makes boomslang a black trail? Any big features or steep?
Hi Charlie, Boomslang is seriously steep and you can pick up massive speed on the bike park stuff at the top. Then near the bottom the roots and off-camber are super-gnarly! It's a great addition to the park!
~ Will
@@bikeradar Was there last weekend and rode it. Top and mid section were great. In the bottom wooded section it was a complete bogfest and near unrideable. Our local is Golfie and we gave up on Boomslang. That section needs some serious drainage work.
how much would all that acreage cost on that little island in the atlantic ocean?
