- This is the last session montage at Skatekab! I have been coming to Skatelab since December 1999. 3 years ago I moved to Simi Valley so I was skating here all the time and became my second home. Skatelab just Closed their doors at this location forever :( Skatelab will be missed but I will remember it forever! THANK YOU SKATELAB! Filmed By Doug Des Autels & edited by PJ Martin. RIP saktelab, this video made me really sad, this was my favorite park ever, had my first real birthday party here when i was like 8. such a fun park, hope to get something like this near soon.

I remember watching everybody skate through cctv haha! it was like a personal little skate video whenever i wanted to watch. Im really sad this place is gone i had a blast the couple times i went when i was younger. RIP SkateLab!

Yeah PJ knocked it over the park! If they are going behind you then you are bailing or turning your body.

I don't know even know this place but I feel sentimental. I can't get over your noseslide big heel. Such a sick looking trick! Dude with pink grip tape is such a creative mini ramp skater. And what a nice surprise to see Torey. What's up with the coping on the small quarter? Looks like it has etchings in it like a file.
Thank you! And Torey grew up skating here, he was first in line when it opened and was also one of the last people to skate it as well. Earlier in the day a bunch of crailtap guys where there too but didn't film them. So many legends learned how to skate here. Skateboarding took a big loss with Skatelab closing. And the copying on that ramp is awesome. I think it's called Diamond Cut, grinds super well and gives it that pool copping feel.
@@nollieheel yeah, I follow Donovan Strain on insta and he was listing some of the big names that went there including Torey. So sad that such an iconic place is closing. 😢 Seemed like a place that attracted and developed so much talent.
Oh yeah this park is where many many of the top pros today grew up and learned their tricks

I know Torey, been seeing him at Skatelab since I started going in 99. Him and a lot of other pros grew up skating there. And I can't going into the full story in a video

Why r they closin?
I hate that Torey doesn’t ever give any shoutouts to Skatelab… This Skatepark basically made him ! His older bro was my friend, he worked there, but didn’t Skate much, I did and I can vouch TP practically lived there, unlimited pass to skate whenever he wanted almost. Todd,Tim,Scott etc. gave him that freedom allowing him to progress the way he did. Yet he shows no love.. smh
I know Torey and Jesse good. They both have a lot of love for Skatelab and Todd. This was an emotional day for sure, but I know how grateful Torey is for the park. It helped him, but I won't say it made him. Jesse skates more now.
@@nollieheel Yup.. well aware.. spent many years there and know them very well too. Literally saying, Torey never MENTIONS Skatelab, cause he doesn’t. All sorts of “Thank You’s”, but not to Lab. How do you know Jesse ?

He was there, check the group photo. But he got hurt a few days before so he couldn't skate. I have another non skating Skatelab vid and he will be in it.
Do you have another skate place in mind to skate at?
There is an outdoor park not far away but completely different vibe
