As long as the Springboks are living inside the heads of the opposition they have succeeded. Oh yes and they have won more world cups than Ireland and New Zealand put together. So, why get angry about his statements? I am a SA, but must admit that the NZ side is a force and did win us with record scores in the past. Don't get involved in arguments, because that makes you arrogant and THAT the Boks don't need.

As children there was always this boy who had a real rugby ball where the rest of us played with anything we had. Now this boy had no skills to play the game. He would therefore always want to change the rules of the game to suite him. And if you don't follow his rules he'll take his ball and go home. Now we have a lot of spoiled brats like these in high places. They can't master the game so they go about changing the rules. Sounds familiar doesn't it.
Fair comments, I have actually found Jackman to be very honest in his critique and by no means biased. He's not saying we don't deserve the respect, he's just saying why he thinks we don't get it.

I can agree with him. We don't have that Flamboyant style of Attack, with us its always been forward dominance, which has always been our strength. Nothing wrong in playing to your strengths. I much prefer those type of games, its tense all the way.
I agree with him, as most of the public I think likes open rugby, flair and exciting moves...... as yes the AB did play that way, but we boks can and has been playing that way too but enjoy grinding as well maybe more so than the AB
purists though enjoy both styles, and dont talk as much as some who stay only subjective in their opinions

The only ones feeling like victims are those complaining about SA style of playing. Rugby is not just playing the game. It's about, game plan, technical strategies and mind set. That being said, the Boks win on all 3 . We get into the heads, we have the best strategies, and the game plan is better than everyone else's. Otherwise the Boks would not have the WC trophy
